Seed-o Bars- for tha beach. 🌴 😎
I could not believe how easy these were to make- perfect, because shockingly simple is all I could handle (can? Generally?). It was almost like the disbelief in how easy these were to make gave me a jolt of energy without even eating any of them- like, sorry, what was that?! Easy? I've heard of this. What a fun, new experience. Maybe we'll do it again sometime, right, life?
I'm just whining- my life is fine.
Ok, here's how it was did:
🍫melt ½ cup of Nut/seed butter of your choice (I used some mega old mac nut butter and also some pumpkin seed butter) in a little pot along with
🍫¼ cup of @bumblebloom vegan honeeeeey (I used cardamom- wowza!)
🍫¼ cup of milk made from plants (I used that homemade sunflower 🌻 seed milk I promised to make a post about but never actually did. Yet.)
🍫1 ¼ cup of quick cooking oats (or pulse some slow cook oats in your food processor) 🍫¼ cup of roasted sunflower seeds (or something else but...money...so.)
🍫3/4 cup of our chocolate (ONLY Zimt will work in this recipe.)
Melt the first three ingredients on the stove, and when they are mixed and melted well, add the chocolate and melt melt melt and mix until smooth, then mix in the oats and sunflower seeds and plunk it in a lined loaf pan, sprinkle some seeds on there and maybe more chocolate, put in fridge. Wait for a few hours and then dig in! Bring some bars on your hike or something.
Have a great day everybody ❤️
PS- lemme know how you like these. .
