Okay, this is going to be it for the night because I've got to go to bed, but this "formula for happiness" Emir talked about after he stopped the wedding was EVERYTHING.
/
When Zeynep presses Emir to admit his feelings for her and tell her he cares for her and put her first, Emir says, "I do," before sarcastically saying he saved her from becoming one of the millions of unhappy married couples out there. As sarcastic as his answer is, I believe he's being honest. He really does think that he thinks of Zeynep often. It's just Emir doesn't think like normal people.
/
Emir says, "If you could satisfy yourself with less, you'd have the formula for happiness." What he's saying is that he wishes she could accept what he's giving her and be happy with it so they can live the life he envisions: A life where he has Nihan as a trophy and Zeynep as a lover. He honestly thinks that's a viable option and something Zeynep needs to accept.
/
Of course, HE could give up something -- he could stay married to Nihan and give up Zeynep or he could give give up his game with Kemal and be with Zeynep. But neither of those options is viable for Emir. So while he wants Z to be happy with him, he wants it on his terms. /
What he also made abundantly clear is that he can live without is Nihan's love. And that's huge for us. He doesn't care if she loves her or not as long as she;s married to her. He's essentially admitting their marriage really is all about beating Kemal.
/
With Zeynep, on the other hand, we know Emir can't settle for less. He has to know constantly that her feelings for him are still there. He's attracted to her. He has to touch her and kiss her all the time.
/
So Emir is essentially admitting he's never going to let Zeynep go in this moment. He's saying, you need to be happy with the way things are because I'm not going to divorce Nihan BUT I'm also not ever going to let you go.
/
It's still several leavels of screwed up, but at least we know giving up Zeynep is never going to be an option. Hopefully, in the end, Emir will realize that having Zeynep in his life is worth giving up his game with Kemal for.
/

Emir has never felt more pushed into a corner than in this moment. He's realizing he really can't convince her to not marry Hakan without divorcing Nihan. He's internally freaking out at this point with the prospect of the marriage looming, so he let's his guard down.
/
Every word he says in this moment is dripping with disdain and jealousy for Hakan. "Do you really think you can be happy with this guy?" (FYI: Guys always pretend they've all the sudden forgot a guy's name when they're jealous. Why the heck don;t you just call him by his name, Emir? We all know you know it.)
/
"You'll have stomach cramps in two weeks from so much unhappiness." More disdain and jealousy. Emir knows that he stresses Zeynep out, but Hakan would be worse. Or that's what he's telling himself in the moment to make himself feel better. lol.
/
And as always, Emir has to try and hurt Zeynep for hurting him, and that's why he says that douchebag line about her going into a married man's bedroom, but I think the two lines he said before this are SO IMPORTANT and people forget about them because of that one bad thing he said.
/
"You love the adrenaline. You love passion," he said, knowingly. How does he know these are the things Zeynep feels with him? Why? Why, I ask.
/
HE KNOWS BECAUSE THESE ARE THE FEELINGS HE FEELS WITH HER. He doesn't want to give up Nihan because he doesn't want to lose, but he can't give up Zeynep either because he doesn't want to lose that passion and fire he has with her.
/
Later, he says the day he doesn't get everything he wants is the day he's not Emir Kozcuoğlu and he doesn't want Zeynep to marry Hakan because Poyraz will have the Kozcuoğlu last name. Here, again, Emir uses Poyraz as an excuse to explain his jealousy. /
@kaanurgancioglu @hazalfilizkucukkose @hilalsaral @akbasburcu #karasevda #zeymir #emze #emirkozcuoglu #zeynepsoydere #kaanurgancioglu #hazalfilizkucukkose

Since Zeynep and Emir are in a standoff, both unwilling to stand down from their demands, they keep going around in circles. Emir is unwilling to accept Zeynep's marriage but won't divorce Nihan to stop it. And Zeynep is unwilling to accept Emir's marriage and will marry Hakan if he doesn't end it. End of story.
/
So Emir plays his final card to convince her to stop the marriage: Seduction and the questioning of her loyalty.
/
Emir knows he has a spell over Zeynep physically. One kiss and she melts. (Must be nice knowing ~someone~ is attracted to him because he knows Nihan isn't, lol.) And the seduction always comes hand-in-hand with questioning Z's love and loyalty to him.
/
He knows she doesn't like to be doubted in that way, while he needs constant assurance she does love him (which is why he continues to push her and question her love). We saw this pattern during the massage scene early on in the season and the confrontation in front of the hotel when he saw her with Hakan, and countless other times.
/
Now, he kisses her *this close* to her lips and asks her if she would choose him over Kemal if ever faced with a life or death decision.
/
And while his effort shook her (she totally turned into jelly when he kissed her), she resisted and turned away, insisting she is still going to marry Hakan. Now this is when Emir gets angry.

Let's just talk about these first few seconds of the coffee scene. First of all, the way Emir is looking at Zeynep is brand new. He's looking at her like he's disappointed and hurt, but almost like he understands as well.
/
Notice, he doesn't threaten her or try to scare her. He's starting to understand Zeynep can't be manipulated anymore in his old way. She doesn't want money and she's not scared of his threats.
/
In the end, she wants him for herself just as badly as he wants to beat Kemal (which is the only reason he doesn't want to divorce Nihan).
/
I think the look on his face is tender respect for Zeynep's resolve. She's a worthy adversary.
/
Still, Emir is starting to realize he's being pushed into a corner because he doesn't have many cards to play since he can't bribe Z or threaten her (she knows he'd never follow through).
/
So it's no coincidence the waiters started to butter Zeynep up when she walked in to the cafe. Emit told them to do that to show her the respect and power she could command if she doesn't go through with the wedding. 😂😂😂
/
He's starting to get desperate.

Hey guys! Once again, I had a pretty crazy week. But trust and believe that just because I go MIA doesn;t ever mean that I've given up hope. It just means real life is crazy and prevented me from obsessing on Instagram. Haha. I will never lose hope until the final second of the final episode.
/
Now, this week was AWESOME for Zeymir, as usual. The Zeymir goodness started when Fehime came busting into Emir's office to tell him to leave Zeynep alone. Up until now, Emir was feeling smug and proud of himself because he thought Zeynep had called off the wedding. Even when Fehime starts yelling at him, he still seems unbothered -- until she tells him that Zeynep's wedding is still on.
/
As soon as she says it his entire demeanor changes. He all the sudden looks insecure and hurt and like every word that comes out of Fehime's mouth is hurting him.
/
We all know that Emir needs constant assurance that Zeynep loves him, so Fehime's words shook him to his core. That's why when she left his office, he *immediately* called Zeynep and wanted to meet her THAT INSTANT. He needed to convince her immediately not to marry Hakan.
/
When he first calls Z, it's no coincidence he said, "Meet me at the coffee shop I bought you." He wants to remind her of the things he can afford her. The life he can provide for her. When she says she can't go, he started to give her a hard time in his usual manner, but as soon as he realizes she's not feeling good, he let's up.
/
What's interesting is that he says, "I'll wait until tomorrow for Poyraz." I personally think Emir is now using Poyraz as an excuse to care for Zeynep. When before, he could never show his true feelings for Zeynep lest she think he actually has feelings for her, now he can be kind to her and shower her with gifts and luxury and force her to be with him and only him and always fall back on, "It's for Poyraz," excuse to explain away his feelings. We're going to see this over and over again in their future scenes.

Now the fragman... OH. MY. GOODNESS. I know for a fact I'm not the only one who lost my mind when I first saw it.
/
It's not like Zeymir havn't kissed a hundred times before, but there's something different about this kiss, isn't there? It's tender and soft in a way we haven't seen in the past and it makes me wonder what exactly is going.
/
I can guess that Zeynep has informed Emir that she still intends on going through with the wedding and now Emir is truly freaking out. Because he's already exhausted all of his methods of manipulating Zeynep until this point -- threatening to give up the baby didn't work, threatening to take it from her and raise it with Nihan didn't either. Not even giving her her own coffee shop and apartment convinced her to give up on her marriage to Hakan.
/
He was so sure Zeynep's love for him would stop her from pursuing the marriage, but now he has to rethink everything he knew. He's leaning in to kiss her tenderly, not only to further prove she couldn't have this love with Hakan, but also to prove to himself that she's still his. This kiss is tender and loving at the same time as being passionate and lustful. And just that soft peck on her cheek was enough to make her weak... you can see it in her face.
/
Since Zeynep's eyes are closed before Emir kisses her, you know he was whispering sweet nothings in her ear, trying to seduce her. This scene is going to be one for the books!
/
More thoughts tomorrow! /

Speaking of not taking the things Emir says seriously, the scene at the coffee shop is a perfect example of why u should never take Emir's words to heart.
/
In 64, when Zeynep was threatening to take away the baby if Emir didn't marry her, in the heat of the moment, Emir said he would raise the baby with Nihan & Zeynep just needs to have it. /
But in 65, after Zeynep saves him, Emir does a complete 180. Now, not only does he say Zeynep can keep/raise the baby in the apartment above the coffee shop, he also gives Zeynep the ultimate gift: Her own business. The means to support herself.
/
This is a HUGE deal. Not even Kemal thought to give her such a gift. Half of Zeynep's struggles are caused by the fact that she's forced to be completely dependent on other people because of the mistakes she made. She's tried to hold down a job, but because of all the craziness going on around her (mostly thanks to Emir) she keeps losing them. Emir knows now that she's not a freeloader. She wants to be independent, make her own living, & not just be his mistress -- so he gave her what she wanted. As a business owner, she's not beholden to anyone's schedule. She can hire staffers and run the business while raising Poyraz. And that is a huuuuuge gift coming from Emir -- someone who thrives off of making people depend on him. (I know that he could potentially take it away, but the gesture -- even that he thought of it at all -- is still huge).
/
And as for letting her "keep" the baby in her belly -- I don't think he ever intended on taking it away. When he told Zeynep that he would raise the baby with Nihan, he already knew she was planning on dumping Hakan. So the reason he's backing down on that is because he never planned on doing that at all. He was just trying to hurt Zeynep in the moment for trying to give him an ultimatum. (He's not stupid and he knows Nihan would NEVER raise Zeynep's baby with him.)
/
As much as an a-hole as Emir is, you can see him ~trying~ to make Zeynep as happy as he can here w/o giving up his obsession, which means something. But we all know she deserves more. She deserves for him to finally leave Nihan and commit to her.
#zeymir #karasevda

Hey guys! Sorry about the EXTREME delay on this analysis. I've been having a crazy busy week, but obviously my mind is going crazy ever since the new trailer dropped yesterday, so I'm going to quickly go over my thoughts for 65 and then get into the trailer and ozet!
/
So, one of the main main comforts I took away from 65 was the way Emir gets these looks of flashing adoration for Zeynep. He works so hard to hide how he feels about her, but every so often he lets his true feelings come through. And those moments came in abundance in 65.
/
1) When Zeynep yelled "Abi!" to stop Tarik from shooting him. Emir opened his eyes and looked at her with such tender affection, as if her enduring love for him -- that she would come save him after all he said to her moments before -- still continues to suprise him and make his heart race.
/
2) In the hospital room, after the doctor tells Emir the pregnancy is risky, he looks at Zeynep with such a soft look of worry. But only when she's looking away. It's like he can only let his guard down in that way when she's not looking.
/
3) When Zeynep challenges Emir about why he slept with her that night before she left Turkey if he doesn't love her, he looked genuinely perplexed, as if he didn't know the answer for himself. But the answer he gave was BS. That's for sure.
/
4) When Emir presents Zeynep with the coffee shop papers and is waiting for her answer. Even thought he talks like he knows she'll accept, the look on his face reveals he's actually super anxious about whether she'll accept or not. And hence, he's still worried about the marriage.
/
Overall, as Zeymir shippers, we can't take everything Emir SAYS seriously. Check out his eyes. His bodylanguage. They reveal ALL.
/

And that brings us to our final question: What will happen to Emir?
/
A few fans have already caught on to what I'm pretty positive will happen next: Zeynep will save Emir.
/
Really, this has been a long time coming, but it's about time Zeynep holds Emir's life in her hands and Emir feels what TRUE mercy is. I also don't think it's a coincidence that the last thing Zeynep yelled at Emir was that he would regret his words to her.
/
I am 99% sure Zeynep will follow Tarik and Emir to the lake and she will run out in front of Tarik and stop him from shooting Emir at the last moment. But there are a few different ways the scene could go down.
/
The way I want to see it happen is like this: A standoff, where Zeynep begs and begs Tarik to put the gun down. When Tarik refuses, she will break down in front of him, proclaiming her love for Emir to Tarik and acknowledging that while Emir doesn't deserve mercy, she could not go on if he died.
/
Emir, who is watching this whole thing, will be looking on in shock. He's never been there when Zeynep claims him in front of her family and this will move him. Especially since he just offended her so immensely no more than 15 minutes before.
/
At this point, I think something will go wrong. Either the baby will act up, or Tarik will accidentally shoot Zeynep, and Tarik's plan will be deserted as they race to the hospital to save Zeynep and the baby. I'm HOPING that this is the moment Emir has his epiphany -- the moment he regrets all his choices up until now (because we've been building up to this moment and it's about time it comes).
/
I hope he'll realize the selfless and reckless love of Zeynep is what he really wants, not his stupid and pointless obsession with Nihan. The question is, is he too late?
/
(For the record, I do not think Zeynep will die, no matter what happens. She might not even get hurt. But this is the only dramatic thing I could see happening that would make Tarik stop and rethink murdering Emir.)
/
@kaanurgancioglu @hazalfilizkucukkose @hilalsaral @akbasburcu #karasevda #zeymir #emze #emirkozcuoglu #zeynepsoydere #kaanurgancioglu #hazalfilizkucukkose

Okay guys... I want you to think back to episode 52 when Emir visited Zeynep at the hotel and saw her outside with Hakan and said that horrible, horrible thing to her about ending their relationship cheaply like it began.
/
What did I tell you then? I'll tell you again: Emir only knows how to respond to being hurt by hurting that person back worse.
/
Look at Emir's face when Zeynep is initially pushing him after he called her cheap. He looks enamored -- like he's excited to know what's next. He's positively intrigued.
/
But as soon as Zeynep reads him like an open book ("Then what are you? A slave to a woman who doesn't love you!") his face completely changes. His eyes become downcast and you can tell her words hit him right where it hurts.
/
So what does he do? He figures out how he can hurt her back. And what would break her heart? The idea that he could ever raise their child with Nihan. THAT'S why he tells her all those things about her just giving birth to the baby and him paying her to have the baby -- he knows it'll break her heart in return for hurting his (frankly, delicate) feelings. He wants to knock her down a peg. Make her think she was never going to be part of the equation raising their child.
/
But let's just think about his supposed "plan" for their son. 1) Emir's known for a long time that Zeynep doesn't want his money. So he knows she would NEVER give him her son to raise with Nihan for all the money in the world. 2) The court doesn't just let fathers take children from their mothers for no reason (at least that's the case in my country). 3) He could never pretend the child is actually Nihan's because everyone knows about his affair with Zeynep at this point (I mean, he told Fehime the baby was his, loud and proud).
/
This would be the worst plan Emir ever had if he actually intended on going through with it. But he doesn't. He just wanted to hurt her and knock her down a peg.
/
@kaanurgancioglu @hazalfilizkucukkose @hilalsaral @akbasburcu #karasevda #zeymir #emze #emirkozcuoglu #zeynepsoydere #kaanurgancioglu #hazalfilizkucukkose

This moment is insanely cute and TELLING.
/
When Zeynep tells Emir the baby is a boy, Emir is SHOOK. He tries not to let it show in his face, but it's completely obvious that he's ecstatic. Inside he's beaming from ear to ear and Zeynep can tell.
/
At that moment, the camera pans out and you can see how they're sitting on the bench. Not far, but not close. And because Emir is feeling sentimental and happy and wants to be close to Zeynep, he does what any middle school kid with no experience with girls would do: Makes up an excuse to get closer to her.
/
"This bench is uncomfortable. My son deserves more comfort," he says, scooting closer to her. His voice is all-the-sudden soft and sweet, too. Because in this moment, he really is beside himself with joy and can't help but show it. He just wants to be close to her. But Emer Kozcuoglu can't admit that. But no worries: You can tell from Zeynep's face that she knows exactly what he's doing.
/
It's no coincidence that it's right then that Emir asks Zeynep if she's going to go through with marrying Hakan. He wants to know she's not this moment because he feels so close to her right now and he wants to feel closer.
/
Look at how their bodies lean in to each other without them even noticing it. That is chemistry you can't fake. Chemistry that writers can NOT ignore.
/

I LOVED THIS EPISODE GUYS!
/
Even though Emir said a lot of things in Zeymir's final scene that were hard to swollow as a shipper, I still think -- overall -- what went down was good!
/
So, first, we got Zeynep and Emir flirting in the way they always do. Zeynep has become an expert at decoding Emir's insults for what they actually are -- affection. Emir doesn't know how to accept or return Zeynep's love, so he ridicules her. The thing is, she knows what he's doing, so it doesn't affect her and she returns his snark and sarcasm like a pro.
/
I love that she essentially says "It would kill you to admit you miss me," because it's what we've known forever. Emir can never admit to Zeynep that he misses her or that he becomes weak in her presence. It would give her too much power.
/
As soon as Zeynep confronted him about coming running when he heard she knew the sex of the baby, Emir didn't have anything ~smart~ to say back. All he could say was, "Don't worry about that," because he knew he couldn't pretend. He wouldn't joke about the baby.
/
But this is the game Zeymir have come to play. Actually, this scene mirrors the scene in 29 when Emir was teasing Zeynep and she teased him right back about missing her coming to his room (remember that shut him RIGHT UP).
/
Emir pushes, and pushes, and pushes Zeynep away. I think it could be because he wants to see how much she can take before she gives up on him (which she never does). But more on that later!
/
Next up, the sex reveal!
