Side Plank with Mermaid and Thread a Needle Arms is a challenging and effective position to explore scapular and shoulder joint range of movement. Pelvis and Legs are stable while upper body can move through range of motion in 3 planes.

Side Plank Position Tips:
. Lengthen through front of hips and imagine thrusting hips forward with glutes engaged. This creates neutral pelvis position and reduces back strain.

Breathe. Find a breath pattern that assists your shoulder mobility and pelvic stability.

Strong Feet Pressing into floor engages full body especially inner and outer thighs.
