As someone who lives the @AtkinsNutritionals lifestyle, pre-race nutrition planning starts a week in advance for me. I typically go very #LowCarb by avoiding foods that have a high #HiddenSugar effect like potatoes, bagels, juices, etc. Two days out, I'll bring back some low glycemic carbs such as berries, melons, and sweet potatoes. I still keep them quite low when compared to a traditional carb load, and always make sure to get in plenty of fat and moderate #protein. My favorite dinner the night before a big race includes a #steak with clarified butter and sea salt along with a medium sized sweet potato and a side salad with a high fat dressing. #Ad #AtkinsInfluencer

Put in the work! When picking a race or goal event I always put a lot of emphasis on how much I will enjoy the process building towards it. If you don’t enjoy the process it’s going to be hard to consistently do the right things to be ready. .
