I love Singapore hawker food. But hawker food are almost always calorie dense but not nutrient dense, mostly with pathetic amt of protein. Had a bowl of Bak Cho mee as supper then felt really unsatisfied due to the pathetic volume. Oct-2017 till Apr-2018, 6-7 mths of slow bulk, gained 6kg so far. Definitely put on some fluffiness but maintained relatively low BF% n have been able to slowly put more weight on the bar too. But the progress has nv been linear. Will continue on this path as long as I still can. Thanks to @jarrsoo for triggering me today to push myself. Tho not a solid 5x5 but managed to hit the same volume. I was being conservative on RPE tho I felt I could have pulled 5-Rep sets but I might not have been able to hit the same volume n tmr highly likely I will be feverishly fatigued n possibly feel like shit. Think lately Iโ€™ve being realistic not stupidly overreach tho it may feel during the workout I can handle those weights.
