For a long time, no was not my go to response. Over the years, I've learned that having no in my arsenal is the gateway to protecting my spirit and sanity.
Commit to working out three times this week.
If you're like me, there are times where I need diversification in my workouts. Not everything requires being in the gym. There are so many free videos on YouTube, you can dance for an hour, work with a trainer, etc. You've options which give way for a few excuses.
Once you start working out, you are in the beginning stages of creating a new habit.
Add probiotics to your intake routine.
Probiotics are beneficial bacteria in your digestive system that keep them functioning properly. Your gut is connected to so many areas of your well being, from head to toe.
Start with incorporating probiotic foods into your diet. Fermented foods are a source of probiotics.
Some examples are: Kefir, yogurt, kombucha tea, kimchi, tempeh, sauerkraut, pickles, miso, spirulina/chlorella.
Research probiotic supplements as an alternative to food.
Invest in reusable bags for shopping.
There is too much plastic in the world. So be one less contributor by bringing your own bags when you shop. I keep a foldable reusbale bag with me for any impromptu or planned shopping.
