Today is Epilepsy Awareness Day.
Our son had a seizure in his Kindergarten glass. From there we had to wait for him to have another one before we knew if he had a seizure disorder. When he had another one, it was almost a relief, we had an answer.
Our son has remained positive and brave with the emergency room visits, CAT scans, MRIs, blood work and changes in medicine.
My son is not seizure free but he doesn't let it define him.
Epilepsy is a terrible thing that 3 million people in the US live with. Find out more at epilepsy.com
