Today I'm working on a tuck position while I #balance on the forearms.
First with the thighs parallel to the ground and then trying to bring the knees close to the chest.

Revisiting this hollow back position on the forearms to see if it has improved.
It feels great to get charged by the energy from today's solar eclipse while doing this #inversion.

I thought a lateral view would be best to illustrate this side crow forearm #balance.
You might think that this version of Pārśva Bakāsana is easier than the one with arms extended... you'd be mistaken.

A spinal torsion to both sides that really tested my #balance.
I was literally drenched in sweat after doing this snake like movement for only a minute.

Revisiting this asymmetrical #balance in Pincha Mayūrāsana, but now adding a scissor type movement with the legs which makes this #inversion so much more challenging.

Focusing on achieving more symmetry in Padmāsana while balancing on the forearms.

This rooster woke up in beast mode.
I didn't think I would be able to lift back up into Ūrdhva Kukkuṭāsana after going down to the forearm, but sometimes you just have more energy than expected.

Feeling motivated to work hard on this #inversion and improve my control.

Finally an opportunity to give the shoulders and forearms a well deserved break.
I'm sure that tomorrow will be challenging again but for now I'll just enjoy this #stretch and relax.

After working hard all week, I'm ready to relax and enjoy this sunny day.

Day 12 of the #DontCallMeBaby August #yogachallenge with the @cyogalab.
No matter how much I tried, I just couldn't get into Gālavāsana on the forearms. I even had to go back to my footballer days and wear a long sleeve shirt to get more traction... but nada.
So finally I had to tap into my Ashtanga roots and do the version I can actually access.
I did record some footage of the forearm attempt, but I think I'll share that in my Story as an outtake from today.
