Benjamin Rowley  My wife and I started Yellowood Design Studio in Columbus, Ohio. Inspired by rural living we design and craft products that reflect a simpler time.

Happy Anniversary to my amazing wife and best friend! Whether its hanging out for a beer or throwing axes, spending time with you is always my favorite thing to do!

Our campers at @axecamp made us pretty damn proud this past weekend. They worked hard, they were eager learners and they were competitive as all get out. Thanks for another fantastic year of adventure!

It’s been a beautiful day here at @axecamp - thank you for joining us again campers.

The calm before the storm.
Photo taken by our Offical @axecamp Photo/Video Sponsor @derksworks. He and his partner in crime @mrsderksworks have supported our crazy endeavors through the years and we couldn’t be prouder.

Shaking things up around here. Moving the woodshop and creating a showroom/store. Pardon our dust.

UPDATE - This event has been cancelled due to weather. /// @Mrs.yellowoodesign will be holding down the fort at @934fest tomorrow! Go visit her at @934gallery from 1-7 Saturday and buy a pocket knife from her or something would ya? #badasswoman [big thanks goes out to @creativebabes for hosting a pop-up market]

As a fun treat for the family, as well as a show piece in our future retail shop, we purchased an old canoe from a neighbor. We fashioned it with custom cedar seats and her name emblazoned on the side. [Thank you for helping us name our Golden Glider @states_of_design @thelittleroman]

Me and the Mrs. will see you in exactly 5 weeks for opening day of Axe Camp Vol. 7.

With our 7th Annual @axecamp just around the corner we reflect on last year. We give you our grand champion 👏👏👏Who will take home the title this year?

@mrs.yellowoodesign getting warmed up for @axecamp this year.. good luck beating her this year everyone. #unstoppable

Today I ride for family. Today I ride with hope. Every dollar you donate to my ride not only goes directly toward cancer research, but is also doubled by my generous employer. Link in bio for details on my 55 mile ride with @pelotonia today. 🚲

Some time we find hidden treasures under the rust of old tools. Finally got a hold of an axe made in my home town Columbus, Ohio. Smith Brothers Hardware Co. Cut Easy double bit! It’s like Christmas in July! Now to get it swinging again!!
