We've found a few different organizations to support over the years. Often times it's in conjunction with us coming out with a product like a Loki calendar. The U.S. Wolf Refuge in Nevada is a sanctuary for wolves and wolf dogs needing a home. They have a large facility and take excellent care of the pups. .
.
Loki's best pal, Bailey, recently got diagnosed with cancer and is scheduled for surgery. Please send 💕 and support their way!

@rachelstrait1 "I started racing when I was 10 years old. My dad took the whole family to race mountain bike race in Big Bear and he entered us in the kids race! Well I beat all the boys and went on to race the next day in the Jr. 15 under class and won that too!" #RackPack #bikelikeagirl #womenwhoride

@jleefishing : “I love to help get kids 🎣 fishing, whether it's donating jerseys or giving away tackle. It makes me happy to see younger kids getting outside and enjoying the outdoors.” #RackPack #fishing

How @henrythecoloradodog came to be...“Always having had several dogs and cats in my house when I was kid, I really started to miss not having critters around, so we decided to look for a puppy to adopt. That's when we found Henry, formally known as Buttercup. Immediately, he collapsed in my arms and went belly up, it was then we knew that he was the pup for us. A couple days after adopting Henry, we took him on a hike and the first thing he did was run up the steepest rock he could find to get a better view. Seeing how much he loved the outdoors, we started taking him everywhere and he never ceases to impress us. He got the nickname our ‘mountain goat’ after he climbed Class 3 14er, Snowmass, easily. Henry took to the outdoors right away, but struggled a bit at home with separation anxiety. So, we decided to get Henry a much needed kitty friend. I searched for several months, trying to find a kitten that would fit in with our adventurous lifestyle and I sure found that in Baloo! We rescued Baloo when he was 2.5 months old and within a day of bringing him home, he bonded to Henry. Baloo's mother abandoned his litter, so he was desperately looking for a mom and Henry was dying for a friend. I think this is why the two have become so inseparable. The first week we had Baloo, we took him on a hike in Golden, CO. He amazed us as he hiked a quarter of a mile in, happy as a clam. This is when Henry really bonded to Baloo, when he realized that Baloo was going to be coming on all of our adventures too. We got pretty lucky with this bunch and I seriously can't wait to see what other adventures await us.” #RackPack #myYakima

It's time. Get out and ride!

Hi everyone, this is @diegohuertaphoto and this is not a paid ad, it's my experience with Yakima.
_
I have been using Yakima products for eight years. I chose Yakima because I believe they have thought of how I can optimize my work as a photographer that travels constantly not for vacations or for a weekend. Why did I choose the Yakima brand for the first time? It's very simple, its colors and designs. I didn´t know anything about Cargo Boxes, I had never read a review of their products, I was simply fascinated with their logo and as I said, their designs. They were not the typical retro "hamburger" on top of a car. The Yakima Cargo Box design made me think of a Kayak, inviting me to go on the road, and I identified with the brand. Years passed and my cargo box was an excellent investment.
_
Years after I had to look for another efficient solution to take advantage of the resources that I had. Once again, Yakima was the perfect solution. Before being a Yakima Ambassador, I was already a fan. I made an investment buying my SkyRise and my RocketBox Pro and its one of the best things I have ever done.
_
When the Yakima team contacted me a few months ago to invite me to be an ambassador for the brand, it was an immediate yes as they have been part of my life for almost a decade.
_
I am not an expert in travel equipment or know how other brands work because I have never used them. In my experience, Yakima is a brand that has always been able to give me the solutions I needed, I hope it is the same experience for all of you.

@diegohuertaphoto Somewhere around America. Happy Saturday wherever you are!

Sun + adventure + photography + Yakima = @diegohuertaphoto

Hi everyone! @diegohuertaphoto here. I want to share with you how to build your SkyRise.
_
Step 1: Find an amazing spot to park.
Step 2: Unzip the straps.
Step 3: Remove the protective cover.
Step 4: Look at the horizon challenging your destiny. 😂
Step 5: Roll up the protective cover.
Step 6: Pull the ladder forward.
Step 7: Push the SkyRise forward.
Step 8: Voilà! Your SkyRise is ready.
_
Tip:
If you had rainy weather or SkyRise Rainfly is a bit wet in the morning, leave your SkyRise to dry completely and avoid moisture and fungi. If you need to leave the spot before the SkyRise is dry, make sure to do this as soon as possible.

Hi Everyone! This is @diegohuertaphoto . When I travel I try to make the most of my Jeep space, my photographic and lighting equipment occupy a big amount of space inside so I need an extra space to carry the rest of my luggage and equipment.
_
For many years I traveled with a SkyBox 16 in my old truck, and it was very comfortable, I could put everything in the SkyBox (I still have it), but after changing my truck for a compact vehicle, I had to reorganize the spaces. Luckily, I found my perfect configuration for my Jeep, SkyRise + RocketBox Pro 11.
_
Now I can take my perfectly well-fitted and safe equipment with me.
_
What I have on my RocketBox Pro 11:
_
Lightstands
C-Stands
Light Diffusers
Extra Sleeping Bag
Medium Duffel Bag
_
Tip:
Take a separate handbag with toothpaste, deodorant, cosmetics, or any other product that can melt, and keep it in your car, leaving only personal items like clothes or shoes on the RocketBox Pro 11.
_
Always carry a sweatshirt and waterproof jacket with you in case you need them, that way you will not have to be constantly opening your RocketBox Pro 11.

Day One. @diegohuertaphoto Hi everyone! My name is Diego, and I’m a photographer. I’m so glad to be part of the Yakima RackPack team. This week I will be sharing with all of you my experience as a photographer and how the SkyRise and RocketBox Pro 11 are an important part of my trips through North America.
