I’m a huge fan of resistance band training!
I like to incorporate them into specific exercises such as squats & hip thrusts to increase intensity, as well as using them on their own. As easy and as straight forward as these exercises look, they will be sure to have your heart rate going and your booty 🍑 feeling like supa hot fiya!! 🔥🔥
I like to do 3-4 sets of all exercises:
1️⃣Side Steps: 30 sec
2️⃣Squat Jumps: 30 sec
3️⃣Front to Back lunge: 20 each leg
4️⃣DB Sumo Pulse Squats: 12 reps
(For this one I prefer not to lock out at the top but instead maintain constant tension throughout the whole movement. I get better glute engagement doing it this way)
5️⃣Glute Hyperextension: 12 reps
**tip: having your feet turned outwards like in a sumo stance + rounding out your upperback helps you to target your glutes and hamstrings instead of your lower back**

Current shape & physique goalss 😊

Just wanted to quickly fill you guys in on what I’ve beeen doing for food / workouts over the last little bit. It’s been a couple weeks now since I’ve been home from vacay and y’all I’ve been livvvin.
Pre vacay 👈🏾 I was loosely tracking macros and eating in a slight caloric deficit (around 1900kcals) w/ 1-2 cheat meals per week as well as alternating between 20-45 mins of cardio every other other day and strength training 5-6x a week.
While on my trip I didn’t track macros or stick to a strict diet, I did however drink lots and lots of water💦 (among other drankss lol) had some sort of protein with every meal, tossed in a few banded workouts and did a wholeee lot of walking around!
Fast forward to now 👇🏾I’m eating 3/4 meals a day, not actively tracking macros but still weighting out my portions, I’m meal prepping 2 of my meals and having 1-2, sometimes even 3 cheat meals a week. In terms of training, I’ve been going 4-5x a week, incorporating a couple ab exercises to every workout but doing little to no cardio (so like 0-25 mins postworkout)
In terms of future goals 👉🏾 I’m going to be starting a structured lean bulk in the next month or sooo here which means: I’ll be back to tracking macros, prepping all daa meals, incorporating more cardio into my training plan (specifically HIIT) and hopefully filming/posting more workout vidss 🤞🏾

It has been a super productive tuesday for ya girl 🎉 I’ve gotten unpacked, did all my laundry, organized my room and even managed to make it to the gym all before 1pm! It honestly wasn’t much of a workout because I’ve been pretty sore from all the flying, but I decided to do some stretching, 30 mins of HIIT on the stair master followed by some more stretching😂
All in all, it’s been a pretty good day so far, hope everyone else is having a decent Tuesday! 😙

I’d give it a 7/10 because it was pretty good and I’m glad I tried it, but I’m not exactly dying to eat it again quite so soon 😂 Has anybody else tried octopus?👀

Getting a workout in while on vacay is not exactly the most fun (especially in 30 degree weather 💦 lol) but it’s gotta be done 🤷🏾‍♀️
I’ve been sticking to short and easy circuits made up of 3-5 exercises that are a mix of both HIIT & core work. It’s perfect for getting my heart rate up and working up a bit of a sweat! It took me less than 30 mins to complete 3 rounds of this circuit so its perfect for those that are tight on time!
Exercises shown: *vid is sped up 2x*

1️⃣ Toe taps (3x20) each leg
2️⃣ Banded side walks (3x20)
3️⃣ Banded jump squats (3x10)
4️⃣ Reverse Crunch + Flutter kick combo (3x20)
