Words to live by from the one and only.

Good Morning.

Team Joe Public.

Beautiful, simple part of the world.

So I Googled “squatter camps in South Africa” and went to images and this is what came out. Im shocked. 😳Trying to engage with @Google to find out how this happens.

Morning 🙏🏽

La puerta al mundo. I don't know what that means, but it's provocative. 😄

Had the most amazing food I've ever tasted at Moments in Barcelona. Awarded with two Michelin stars, Moments is the restaurant of the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Hotel on Barcelona’s Passeig de Gràcia. It's run by Carme Ruscalleda, the only female chef in the world with seven Michelin stars, and her son Raul Balam is head chef. I got to experience their Ecosistemes menu and it was impeccable, innovative – and simply the very best of Catalan– cuisine.👌🏽 The bittersweet part for me is that I never would've known about this gem had it not been for Anthony Bourdain who passed away last week. All I can say is I'm truly, truly grateful 🙏🏽. 🇪🇸

When you order a small drink, but they give you this one and you're like "No, but... but...but..." And they're like "You don't want it?" And you're like "I didn't say that" 🙈

Maybe that’s enlightenment enough: to know that there is no final resting place of the mind; no moment of smug clarity. Perhaps wisdom...is realizing how small I am, and unwise, and how far I have yet to go. -Anthony Bourdain

Such a special day spending time with the multi talented Tichina Arnold. Often you think of stars you love and wonder if they're divas and it was so amazing to be with someone who's just human, despite her fame. I got to tell her about my favorite Martin scene, I got to teach her important South African words like “chap” and “wow sisi” and “wow bhuti”. But most importantly I got to hear about her creative journey and got to listen to the amazing music that she’s making. Thank you for an amazing experience @tichinaarnold and thank you for loving South Africa 🇿🇦. Wow sisi.👌🏽

In December my parents told me about the amazing singing talent from the Eastern Cape, Dumza Maswana. Yesterday I flew down to East London to surprise them with front row seats to his live DVD recording. One of the most special days in mine and their lives. My dad joked at the end "Clearly we didn't raise you too badly mos?" 🙏🏽
