I wasn’t an athlete. I didn’t know what I was doing or how to start. I’m still getting over insecurities lifting weights. The real key is YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE. I started with 8-10lb dumbbells, at my house, to start building strength & improving technique. Sometimes I only did/still do bodyweight exercises. As I’ve gotten stronger, I’ve increased the amount of weight, gone up in number sets and/or reps, and increased the frequency of my workouts. You just keep building up. Pretty soon, the weights I used to be scared to lift seemed easier, so I kept building. The real key for me was to START and stay consistent with it. When I felt confident, and my body told me I was strong enough to do more, I took the next step. There are plenty of fitness routines on-line but if you don’t feel comfortable navigating them, and want to know what I do specifically just DM me or comment here and I’ll be happy to help do what I can!!! ||
