During my yoga flow this morning I was thinking about how hard it can be to love ourselves, through the ups and downs of life, the weird stuff our dome likes to make up about us, and the constant transformations we are always going through. We often hear that we need to love ourselves before we love others. But how exactly do we do that?
I think reminding ourselves through action is a great way. Whether that’s showing up to the yoga mat, getting a massage, or taking some time to read or journal. When we make small investments inward that help us reflect (and put in rather than take out) we start to get our self-love meter filled up and tell our higher power we are willing and able to receive more love. So since today is Valentine’s Day, take some time to fill your meter, feel the love...and if you have some practices you like doing do them! 🤝
