This year's effort 😍 I made it in a huge rush but I love how it turned out.

Second loaf ready for lunch later. Looks like it has a better rise. The taste of the last one was great, but the texture was a little dense. I altered a few things and hopefully the result will be slightly better!

Selfie from date night on Saturday. Had my hair done by a hairdresser for the first time in 2 years. (The joys of having a toddler/ husband who works unpredictable hours/ a car that wasn't working/ no family nearby)

First attempt at sourdough, my starter took longer to get going than I hoped (until I relocated it to the airing cupboard!)
Let's hope it tastes good it's literally just come out of the oven.

Eco washing up tools. This is my journey to zero waste as my new years resolution. Obviously zero is a dream, reality is to make improvements where I can in a realistic way.
Featuring wonky crochet cloth, I think it needed more stitches in the corners but I was feeling too lazy to undo it, as it is only for cleaning. Pattern is by @teeztopperz

It's so bittersweet as your children grow up, I feel emotional that my baby is certainly not a baby any more and I can't believe Ruby is 2 already, it's literally gone by in the blink of an eye. She is growing up to be such a sweet, caring and loving child. Ruby loves to climb, jump and is fiercely independent. She's never slept through the night or away from my side. Ruby is so completely opposite to Poppy and she has taught me so much more about being a mother than I already knew. I love you more than all the stars Ruby and I hope you have had a lovely birthday 😭❤️💔😊😍😄
