Beautiful Queen of Sweden as a new fall of snow starts.

Snowy woods foraging today for my last wedding of the year!

The promise of a beautiful winter ahead of us. Girls waiting for their breakfast.

Setting flowers free. I love to travel and explore beautiful corners further afield. And it’s true, happy beautiful flowers grown amongst the elements of their south facing field, here on the farm are brilliant travellers too. Every stem nurtured from seed to bloom were happy travellers to celebrate Phoebe and Tat’s wedding in the Cotswolds at Castle Combe. Beautiful 📷. @taylorandporter

The transient beauty of an English summer. There is something about picking flowers that etches the moment into my memory. I remember talking about these larkspur in such a pretty delicate grey blue shade. On a dry sunny mid summers day we thought it could be worth picking a selection to see how they dry. I wish we’d picked more and remembered there’s no time like now, because they’re still delicate and perfect! Picking memo for next summer @s_o_p_h_c 🙂

Sitting at my desk doing my accounts I really need to remember jobs like this, with my flowers outside and immersed in the elements, racing clouds, endless views and beautiful elopemnt brides. Beautiful 📷 @jesswitheyphoto

Who would have thought, dried aster is like little snow flakes

Joy and flowers in the landscape. Beautiful 📷 @jesswitheyphoto

One step at a time, before I immerse myself in winter festivities and planning for my December brides, I need to take stock, turn over a new leaf, and start recording the seasonal characteristics of my growing and working year, including general timings of flowers, colours and foliage textures I would hope to have in the cutting garden and available for foraging on the farm. Remembering shades of purples and pinks for a beautiful October elopement story set within the woods behind my cutting garden. Photo by beautiful @jesswitheyphoto

The last pick of my roses from the garden, they’re surprisingly hardy beauties, and the cafe au lait showing their gratitude lasted a little longer as we finally have sides on their polytunnel.

As luck has it Roses seem to love our south facing cutting garden, and from my experience June is the month roses burst into life. And midsummer is the proposed date for a beautiful collaborative “Scented Garden” class I will be running with the fabulous photographer @brittwilldyer in the Welsh borders next year. 📷. @brittwilldyer

Well it's almost a wrap for my loved but very rambling flowering field. 50 new roses recently arrived, a couple of thousand spring bulbs to plant, new hellebores, many new perennials to plant and many old to save and hours and hours of weeding to work through. Spring preparations are when my next gardening marathon commences. 📷. @beccygoddard during my Autumn Field to Vase class
