I started reading a book last night. I haven’t read a book in months, but it felt nice. It’s a book on Nikola Tesla, I purposely chose a nonfiction book so I could learn something. Our minds are constantly receiving information, and I want that information to be of my choosing.
I’ve toned it down a lot, but I still lose hours f my day just playing on my phone-scrolling through my Instagram feed or even checking to see how many likes I got. 😕 There are a lot of beautiful pictures and stories that go with those pictures, but at the end of the day it’s not feeding my brain. I’m not really bettering myself. I need to focus more on learning and doing, because I want to be present in my life. 😊💫
