The Westport Library . . .

Today is the last official day of summer and we're holding on a little bit longer handing out these beautiful bundles of prize books for our summer reading winners! BIG congrats to all the participants who collectively read hundreds of books this year!

The Westport Library welcomes Lynne Constantine back to #WestportCT. She and her sister, Valerie together wrote "The Last Mrs. Parrish", an addictive debut thriller that quickly became a national bestseller. Meet Lynne at Saugatuck Story Fest located on Sunday Oct. 14th at Staples High School Sunday, Oct. 14th 9AM - 5PM. #authors #thrillers

The Westport Library welcomes author Nic Stone to Saugatuck Story Fest on Saturday, Oct. 13th at 2pm. She will be discussing the impact of female authors on young adult literature. Click here for full schedule. http://bit.ly/2PKJJxi

The Saugatuck Story Fest celebrates the enduring legacy of literary legend Ray Bradbury with "A Bradbury Evening: Performances and Stories." Play With Your Food, Westport's popular play reading series, will begin the evening with a staged reading of KALEIDOSCOPE, the chilling, classic Ray Bradbury radio play written in 1955.

In the evening's second half, we will welcome authorized Bradbury biographer, Sam Weller for a talk exploring the career and importance of Bradbury, including rare photographs and personal stories. Weller will be joined by StoryFest authors Rob Hart and Gwendolyn Kiste for a broader discussion of Bradbury's influence on generations of writers.
