Motivation only lasts for so long and then you have to figure out a way to keep going, or to keep coming back after a setback. It's not easy and there is no one formula that works for everyone. For me, habit keeps me coming back. When even habit won't get me there (for example, after my recent stretch of sickness) the idea that I could end up as that girl on the left again is enough to motivate me to get back to it. Find the thing that keeps you going and hold on tight!

These pictures are 17 months apart and about 90lbs difference. I did this with healthy eating and exercise, no surgery, pills, or starvation. There is no single diet or training program I follow - I mix it up every few months and have tried pretty much everything. Personally, I prefer weightlifting but you have to find the thing that works for you. If you don't know where to start, hire a quality personal trainer. INVEST in YOURSELF!
