Kaitlyn Weaver And Andrew Poje  Olympians | Canadian National Champions | World Medalists | GPF Champions | 4CC Champions | Canadian Ice Dancers #WeaPoFamily

Last night, the first 2016 world champion was crowned.
Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron of France skated to gold with all new PB scores. Americans were 2-3 on the podium respectively, Maia and Alex Shibutani just edged out American teammates Madison Chock and Evan Bates.
Italian team Anna Capellini and Luca Lanotte skated a PB performance finishing a respectable 4th. This program was so light-hearted and elegant at the same time and one of my personal favourites of the night. Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier of Canada skated into 8th.
Kaitlyn and Andrew skated into 5th in the free dance with extreme artistry and character flow throughout but downgrades in levels may have cost them a medal. However, we could not be more proud of them. They represented Canada in such a humble and gracious way. When interviewed by Scott Russel shortly after their preformance, they said they are going to keep pushing and chasing that world tittle! The #WeaPoFamily will always be supporting them and proud no matter what the outcome.

Today marks the first day of the Boston World Championships 2016.
Day 1: @gabriellapapadakis and @guillaumecz of France danced into the lead as the competition opened with the Short Dance. US ice dancers @maiashibutani and @alexshibutani came second followed by teammates @chockolate02 and @evan_bates.
Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje skated into fourth place with a great short dance, just a point behind third. The free has always been their strong point, so the #WeaPoFamily is sharing all the love and support for the duo when they next step out on the ice.
Canadians were 4 and 5 after the short with teammates @pipergilles and @pauldpoirier currently ranked 5th with an unbelievable short. Fellow ice dancers Paradis/Oulette will not advance to the free dance.
The men's short program results will follow this post! #Worlds2016 *I found this edit from google images. Image belongs to their rightful owner

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Brussels today. To the loved ones of the people who didn't survive and the injured. #prayforbrussels #ikwilhelpen

Extremely sorry for those past three Instagram posts. I assure it was NOT me posting those. I've been seeing those people hack into accounts recently and make those posts so I remind you guys, NEVER give anyone other than people you know about and trust any information. Whether this be Instagram passwords or other more serious things. Once again, sorry for that post. Lots of love❤️

Success is no accident. It's hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, LOVE of what you are doing
