Why are we afraid to dream?

Is it because we are predisposed to failure from our first test in school, or is it because as a society we have created a checklist in order to be successful?

Dreamers run this world. They don't dwell on the what ifs, and they certainly don't fear failure. .
We are insane! And because we are insane we have insane dreams and aspirations!

The only thing stopping you from you achieving your INSANE dreams is belief. Believe in yourself and that your creator put you here for more than what society says you can be!

I was blessed to spend 3 days in Anaheim, CA amongst an amazing group of people. People that were willing to get out of their comfort zone and push themselves without any hesitation or question, showing what they are really made of.

LEADERS CREATE LEADERS.
.
Let’s have a talk about this topic which can be heard all over books, podcasts and conversations.
.
I love that it’s everywhere, because we need more leaders to step up to the plate and lead the RIGHT way.
.
However —it’s hard for anyone to take you seriously as a leader if you can’t start by leading YOURSELF.
.
Which is why I prescribe to the motto that leadership is earned, not simply handed out because of a title. How is it earned? You don’t talk about it…you BE about it and go out into the world and earn it. How often? Every damn day. (Holidays and Sundays includes.)
.
Once you’re able to look in the mirror and lead yourself —you’re able to lead those closest to you. This year has been one of DEEP introspection for me to peel back the layers and acknowledge I still have a ton of work to do. But I’m doing it, and that’s what matters.
.
It’s a special experience for a Father to lead his son and teach him the values and work ethic required to become the best version of himself.
.
It it easy? NO! But it’s never been more important for the Fathers of the world to wake up and lead —because there’s no greater impact we can have on the next generation than this.
.
For me, nothing has been more FULFILLING than watching @aceweatherford grow up and turn into a leader himself. Double tap if you’re here to lead yourself powerfully, so you can lead those around you and create IMPACT on this world!

I can’t say enough great things about @weatherford5 @weatherfordfit Metabolic Reset program. This is my transformation so far and I’ve only been at it for 11-12 weeks. 48 pounds lost! It isn’t easy and you only get out of it what you put in but the results speak for themselves.

📆 2010 vs 2017: .
🏈A TALE OF TWO WORLDS💪🏽
.
My training style shifted from pure performance to a unique style of bodybuilding, power training, and athletic performance after I retired from the @NFL and its demands on my body. .
.
I also had an extremely low carbohydrate allotment on the picture from 2010.
.
I was believing the hype:
.
“CARBS ARE BAD AND MAKE YOU FAT!”
.
Keto is the only way, the Atkins diet, or swear by Paleo and never look at grains the same way ever again.
.
Here’s the truth most people won’t tell you:
.
There is NO SUCH THING as a one-size-fits-all nutrition plan.
. (Usually, someone’s trying to convince you of that for a quick sell.)
.
What happens is you become a slave to the diet and can never get out — for example:
.
Keto steers you clear of carbs, which isn’t a terrible thing, but for a percentage of people that try that lifestyle; they actually end up building up a carbohydrate sensitivity.
.
The moment they introduce carbs back to their diet — they explode in weight and increase fat storages (sometimes being heavier then the original weight.)
.
I’m not saying insulin manipulation through carb cycling is perfect for you, but I can say it’s BY FAR, the most enjoyable. .
I eat pizza, burgers, and pasta at least 5 meals a week…and not “one piece”, I’m talking an entire meat lovers just for Dad♥️🍕
.
If you’re telling me I have to give up pizza and burgers to get abs; I’d probably do it.
.
But as you can see in the above picture, once I started to “cycle carbs” with specific ‘feeding windows’...
.
All that hard training actually started to build muscle, and the more muscle density you have, the less cardio required it takes to get and STAY lean. .
WIN, WIN.
.
I walk around 24/7 365 at 6-8% body fat;
Yes I have good genetics to be lean, but not to build muscle.
.
I’m a hard gainer, and it was extremely frustrating to work harder then anyone else on my NFL teams, and watch them grow bigger and stronger, and I’m sitting in corner pissed off and discouraged. .
.
