🔴EXERCISE: SPIDER MAN PUSHUPS (W/Bosu Ball) 🔵HOW TO PERFORM IT: start in the familiar plank position. Your feet should be together and your legs held straight. Put your hands on the floor a bit farther apart than your shoulders. Be sure to keep your back straight, and do not let your rear end stick up in the air. ▪Lower yourself to the ground, as in a normal pushup, by bending your elbows. However, when you are at the lowest point of the movement, do not simply raise yourself back up to the starting position. Instead, lift your right foot off the ground and bring your knee forward until it reaches your elbow. ▪Hold this position for a moment, and then return your right leg to its initial position. Push yourself back up to the plank position. Repeat the same movement, but this time bring your left knee forward to your left elbow. Continue alternating sides for as many reps as you want. 🔵WHAT BODY PARTS DOES IT TRAIN?: Spiderman pushups mainly work your pectoral muscles, your deltoids, and your triceps. It is an excellent form of upper body workout. It also can engage your core muscles and helps to strengthen them.

WHO ARE YOU? I'm NOT asking you what you do or your position. I'm asking you a very direct & simple question... WHO ARE YOU? As simple as a question this is, I can tell you that many people can't even begin to answer it. They have no idea. Part of the reason why they can't answer it is because they're more concerned with their IMAGE; not their IDENTITY. So that you can fully understand what I'm saying, let's define each one:
🔵IDENTITY - Is who you are. Your essence, your character, your purpose, your uniqueness, your accomplishments, shortcomings & victories. 🔵IMAGE - Is who we want others to THINK/BELIEVE we are. It's the facade that we hide behind to prevent others from knowing the real us.
No matter how much time, effort, & energy you put into changing your IDENTITY, you can't change it - and since we can't change our IDENTITY, we put the effort into changing our IMAGE. Take social media for example. We use Photoshop & filters to create the images we want people to perceive as our realities. The truth is, we're loaded down with insecurities & imperfections. We post pictures of ourselves & Bae on exotic beaches, holding hands at sunset. The truth is, we're miserable & our relationship is literally being held together by duct tape. We post pictures of our fancy cars, expensive purses, shoes, & watches. The truth is, we're up to our necks in credit debt, without health insurance, & a solid savings plan. Why does this happen? This happens because we're NOT confident in our own SELF IDENTITY. Hollywood & social media have set FALSE standards that none of us can live up to. Not because we're inadequate, but because they're UNREALISTIC & FAKE. Because, we don't understand this, we're constantly striving to display something that WE'RE NOT -promoting IMAGE, rather than our real IDENTITY. It's time to start LOVING ourselves. It's time to STOP worrying about what others think about us. It's time to start seeing ourselves the way GOD see's us. Only then will we be content with expressing our real & unique selves, & stop trying to promote lifestyles & images that are phony & misleading. Thanks for reading.

The purpose of this post is NOT to give you a good laugh. Neither is is to talk about her technique & what she should & should not be doing. The PURPOSE of this post is to SHOW RESPECT & to HIGHLIGHT A MINDSET. I respect more individuals who are NOT afraid of challenging themselves in NEW ways. COURAGE is doing things OUTSIDE OF WHAT YOU'VE ALREADY MASTERED. Many go to the gym & do the same things ALL THE TIME. They stick to their machines, cables, & bands. They lift weights that keep them from needing a spotter, or having to use CONTROLLED MOMENTUM. They can tell you how many times a week they WORKOUT, but ask them when was the last time THEY AMAZED THEMSELVES, or did anything that required they give 110% effort. These are the same individuals who'll laugh at the girl in this video. They're the same individuals who'll say ridiculous things like, "she shouldn't be attempting that, or that's to much weight for her". They're the same individuals who leave silly fear based comments on our pages when we're pushing ourselves & doing things that terrify them. We're NOT fooled by your ridiculous comments. We know its just a wall that you HIDE behind called FEAR. You say you're "being safe, or training smart". Yeah, right! You're afraid and you know it. My fellow Warriors, allow me to be your voice: WE'RE NOT LIKE YOU. We don't operate in fear. We don't go to the gym to be seen, look cute, or just to be able to say we trained today. We go to BATTLE! We go to wage WAR on our bodies & challenge our minds. Cameras capture our workouts, but WE DON'T WORKOUT FOR THE CAMERA. We understand that sometimes you sustain wounds on the battlefield. However, this doesn't stop us from going to battle. Don't get it twisted. There's a difference between doing exercises that are unconventional with a SOLID BENEFIT/PURPOSE, over doing crazy exercises with no physiological benefit solely for the sake of the camera. To the girl in the video, I respect you completely! Thank GOD you were able to walk away from this lift. Learn from it & get back on the battlefield. To all the REAL WARRIORS, I know you understand. Each morning, you have to remind yourself: I am a masterpiece. I am hand picked by GOD. I am a person of extreme value and significance. If you are indeed in JESUS CHRIST, you are NOT your own. HE died a horrible death on the cross for YOU - to make You HIS own. You are dearly loved and highly favored. You are HIS prized possession. Regardless of what the world tries to get you to believe or what anyone else has ever told you. We must SEE OURSELVES CORRECTLY & also WALK IN THIS REVELATION. Once this revelation penetrates your heart, you will no longer use your body for your own personal desires and selfish interests. You will no longer abuse it with drugs & alcohol. You will no longer abuse it by inactivity & unhealthy eating practices. Unfortunately, very few people place emphasis on health, taking care of the body, & a better overall quality of life. Now, it's all about "buy my PROGRAM", who has the biggest biceps, the booty, & winning competitions. As a result, we're seeing more & more people die at a young age, obese & overweight statistics rising, anxiety cases increasing, & a plethora of low self-esteem related issues. Sadly, I also see this problem within the Body of CHRIST. Many Believers are out of shape & overweight; all while CHOOSING to live a sedentary lifestyle! Things like ministry & making money have taken priority. Ultimately, this leads to future problems in the health -which establishes a foothold for the enemy. Rarely, do discussions about health & fitness come from the pulpit. In a perfect world, any leader or person of influence would educate & place a high level of importance on this all important aspect of life. Unfortunately, this is not the case. We have to assume personal responsibility for our health and fitness. The emphasis has to be placed on PREVENTIVE, and not maintaining or just making the condition as painless as possible. This post is not to be critical or judgemental. I'm simply highlighting a reality that's prevalent within our society. It needed to be said. Let each of one us search our hearts & see if we're doing our part. It literally is a matter of LIFE or death
