We're approaching 'that time of year' when you are naturally going to start thinking about which diet or detox you're going to choose come January... So today I am going to save you some time and energy, and talk to you about 'detoxes'...

The word 'detox' is actually a pretty good word - I like it. Removing toxins from your body, especially at this time of year, can only be a good thing. However, the WAY IT IS USED, especially at this time of year, really irritates me. .

Yeah, me too. I'm moving out of my house this weekend, I just got back from a weekend away, I'm moving abroad in 4 weeks, my house is a tip, I have 3 million things to do, I have a business to run, clients to see, the list is ENDLESS. .
I could probably get away with the I'm too busy bullshit this week. So what do I do when I'm too busy? I simplify.

I've just chopped 4 courgettes, a cauliflower, a bunch of broccoli, a bag of Brussels and a bag of carrots and boxed them up. I'm gonna use these for stir fry veg for the entire week. I'm gonna switch my proteins and have salmon tonight, chicken tomorrow, beef on Wednesday, salmon on Thursday, chicken on Friday etc etc, and while they're in the oven I'll stir fry a big load of these veggies. I might add some rice or some corn on the cob for carbs if I need them. I'm gonna have cereal and a protein shake for breakfast every day with fruit, and an omelette every day for lunch with salad. It just took me 20 minutes to sort all of that. For the entire week.
