"Citadel Hill - Halifax, NS
β€’ One of Halifax’s most photogenic spots πŸ’™" We couldn't agree more. It's a great spot to snap an iconic pic of the Halifax Town Clock, which has been keeping time since 1803. Somebody is just waking up! Love this photo of the drunken lamppost art instillation at sunrise. What you can't see from this photo is the other lamppost still sleeping. You can find this on your walk on the waterfront in Halifax. Featured Photo πŸ“·: @glovernotafighter #VisitNovaScotia #ExploreCanada

Stormy outside - warm in our bellies! Who wants to eat this right now?
The Canteen on Portland in Dartmouth has one heck of an Instagram game that will have you drooling before you even enter the modern eatery on the other side of Halifax Harbour. If you're in Halifax, you won't regret taking the ferry over and grabbing dinner or lunch. " πŸ’₯ The Scallop Burger is back on Thursday & Friday! #NOVASCOTIAEATS 🀘πŸ’₯ Pan seared scallops, cucumber slaw, tzatziki, pickled red onions and greens on our toasted sesame bun. 😘 See you for lunch people! #canteenonportland"

Wooot Woo! It's Wednesday - Hump Day. It's also #WildlifeWednesday and we are loving this snowy owl series from photographer Adam Hill as he goes owl spotting on Cape Breton Island. πŸ“·: @adamhillnaturephoto #VisitNovaScotia #ExploreCanada

We love this story - because if you are going to fall in love with photography again, we have the perfect places to do it. "Growing up dad was the first "photographer" i followed. He had a Pentax camera and i loved winding the film on and the sound of the shutter click when he took photos...as we grew up work and family took over and he didn't take as many pics. When digital cameras came in he stopped altogether. A few years ago he took a trip to Canada with mum and after much convincing (that he cldnt break or destroy it)he took my little point and shoot camera. He still didn't take many pics, but he did take this one at Peggy's Cove. He had to climb up some rocks and gingerly lie down to get "the shot" not an easy feet in your 70s ...but not bad for his first photo in approx 20 years!"
