If you're not a big sports person and you're looking to escape the buzz around the AFL Grand Final, hit the road and find your next happy space in Victoria. You'll find plenty of space to enjoy the colours of spring and to enjoy unbeatable farm-to-table lunches. Stroll in fields of blooming flowers when you @explorebendigo to see their annual tulip display or prepare your stomach for a winery degustation as you look out at the vines from your table. Photo by @selfconfessed_snapaholic #explorebendigo #yourhappyspace #visitvictoria

As you walk through Carlton Gardens and past Royal Exhibition Building, you won't be able to resist pulling out your phone for a snap. But there's much to explore underneath the surface, with the Royal Exhibition Building occasionally hosting events like @pinotpalooza (Oct 6) for wine lovers and the @finders_keepers market (Oct 19-21) to showcase Australian designers. You'll also find @melbournemuseum just next door for the latest exhibitions. In fact, @mandelamylifeexhibition premieres tomorrow, so make sure to get your ticket before it finishes in March to tour the world. Photo by @rorithemonster #visitmelbourne #melbournetwist

Whilst one part of Victoria is still snowing, this area down south in @officialmorningtonpeninsula is sapphire blue. If #yourhappyspace is on the water, make sure you're ready for nature's surprises - like curious southern right whales swimming around you whilst you're stand up paddlleboarding! Take a closer look at our historic buildings because it might just not be another restaurant or bar. Whether you're a bookworm or you're trying to escape a rainy day, the shelves of @hillofcontent bookshop might consume you for hours. This literary treasure has lived at 86 Bourke St for over 95 years and is easily accessible via the 86 or 96 tram. Photo by @jaclyncrupi #visitmelbourne #melbournetwist

Who would've thought? Sunny snow-scapped mountains in the midst of spring in Australia. You still have a few weeks to experience the snow in Victoria's @seehighcountry, about 3+ hours north of Melbourne, with @snowvictoria_au's extended season running until October 7. Never seen snow before? Head to our IGTV channel to get a snapshot of what it's like. You might just find a new place to call #yourhappyspace. Keep an eye out for bursts of yellow when you're next driving to #yourhappyspace in regional Victoria. @vicgetaways spotted a canola field with this magnificent backdrop near @visitballarat, but you'll see plenty more in this spring weather throughout the state. More reason to get out and enjoy a drive to a place you love or to explore somewhere you haven't been before. #yourhappyspace #visitvictoria #visitballarat

Find #yourhappyspace along the coast and you're shore to be inspired. Sometimes an escape not only relaxes you but inspires you to get in touch with your creative juices. This amazing artwork by @breatheablueocean is just one of many artworks he has drawn with a rake in the sand without the need for projectors or guide ropes. This aerial shot captures the scenery and artwork in @visitgeelongbellarine - you can just spot the jetty and @at_theheads restaurant beside it, where you can enjoy lunch with a great view. Albert Park lake - home to the @ausgp every March, but outside of those few days, it's quite a relaxing place to take a walk or cycle, especially in spring. Located just a few kilometres south of the city, you can access this urban oasis by tram. Enjoy a Melbourne coffee and brunch by the lake at @thecarouselcafe or the @boatshedcafe_albertpark, then hire a boat for a paddle. If you're not a morning person, take an evening stroll and catch a sunset as you look back at the city skyline for that postcard view. Photo by @photo_shots_scapes #visitmelbourne #melbournetwist

There are so many places to escape to in Victoria, where you can catch a sunrise and let the morning breeze brush your face. Mount William, the highest point in @thegrampians, is just one of those places. After a 45min walk to the top - lose your gaze to endless space and pause. Relax. Enjoy the high altitude. And forget your worries. Make sure to tag #yourhappyspace and #visitvictoria next time you find an amazing spot like this in Victoria. Photo by @robmulally #grampians @parksvic

Princes Bridge is not only ideal for people to take photos from, but it also provides easy access to our Arts Precinct. Walk from Flinders St and pause here for a superb view. If your adventure falls on a Sunday, you can keep walking to peruse @artscentremelbourne's Sunday Market from 10am. Browse hand-crafted products made by Melburnians, bite into a cheeky sweet treat or sit on the lawn and listen to live music. If you're a bit more of a curious soul, see one of our exclusive exhibitions. Both @ngvmelbourne's MoMA and @acmionline's Wonderland exhibition end on October 7 - so pay a visit before it's too late. Guildford Lane - oh so very close to @melbournecentral, but we wouldn't blame you if walked past thinking they were just old factory buildings. These historic, industrial buildings now house some great places to visit in hidden Melbourne style. There's @rapha_australia for cycling enthusiasts, @catcafemelbourne for animal lovers and cosy cafes to have brunch. The laneway is part of a project to create sustainable spaces in the city, so you'll find a cute array of plants adorning the laneway as well as some green-inspired street art. Is #yourhappyspace wining and dining with a view of rolling green hills? Then head to @levantinehill in @visityarravalley_official, with its ceiling to floor windows. The vineyard partners with hatted restaurant Ezard to produce a quality gourmet experience matched with their own wines. Choose between the indulgent degustation menus or sample their signature wines in their fitting barrel-inspired tasting booths. Photo by @_da___da_ #yarravalley #visitvictoria
