Got bitten by the BURG. (Review. #Swipeleft )
I officially began ticking off things on my bucket list few weeks ago. Yay!
One of the places I listed to visit or try out was BURG (a burger joint), so when a friend hit me up to chill, it just seemed like a wise choice.
No long story, it's a cool place to chill contrary to most people's belief that all the coolest spots are on the island. (Hian. 🙄)
Their menu is relatively affordable and the meal itself? Tasty.
As for the surroundings, quite neat. But, as cool as this place seems, i found some things a bit discomforting -
1. it's not so spacious (not enough parking space within the compound; might cause a traffic jam should there be an influx of guests during a big event.)
2. The "wall art" made with newspapers should be changed to cutouts from lifesyle - food, art - pages not politics, sad news about killings, corruption etc. I mean, people are coming to your space to relax, not have their eyes bump into a caption on the wall that reads "25 killed by a gas explosion". 🤦🏽♀️
3. The "ladies" had it's hand dryer unplugged just because the socket was being used to power up speakers outside. I washed my hands and had to dab on my trousers after using toilet paper. C'mon guys! 😢👎
That aside, its still a cool spot and enjoyed the few hours i spent eating Spike Fries & Suya OG with my Friend Ali (not Mohamed). _____________
