I'm really excited to announce a new exhibit of my work along with an opening event! At Bareburger in Santa Monica at 2372 Main St. on Sunday, August 6th, I'll be live painting starting around 4pm! I've never done anything like this, so I hope you'll come see me.
Proceeds from the pieces on display, which will be up in the restaurant through October, will partially benefit Heal The Bay. I was glad they wanted to connect with me because long long ago I loved supporting their organization and even helped paint a mural somewhere near the beach. My daughters now love the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium too!
The pieces available are also listed online at my Square Stand at http://mkt.com/daniel-edlen and purchases made there will also benefit the charity.
I've also relaunched my Art Is Sacred t-shirt campaign to benefit Heal The Bay as well. It's wearable Vinyl Art. Check it out at https://represent.com/art-is-sacred-1 and find which style you like!
Thanks so much! -----
Visit Bareburger Organic in the month of August and support Heal the Bay’s work through a variety of events; eat, drink, catch a film, hear some great music, support local artists—all of which will help raise funds for Heal the Bay and the Santa Monica Pier Aquarium. Catch a special screening of “Finding Nemo” on August 29th! Be sure to check out Heal the Bay’s display at the front entrance to learn about the #StrawlessSummer campaign, and what you can do to help keep our oceans clean and safe.
SKIP THE STRAW
A beach is a terrible thing to waste.
Heal the Bay is asking Angelenos to take part in its #StrawlessSummer campaign this August. When you skip the straw, you help keep plastic trash out of landfills and our local beaches. So start sippin’ -- the ocean will thank you.
For over 30 years, Heal the Bay has been the Southland’s strongest advocate for the ocean.
