Let's be real ya'll: I have fine, thin, limp hair. Not exactly a flattering portrayal, but I'm a realist. I've had it all my life, so figuring out how to get volume and body has been a lifelong struggle with my sad tresses. Shorter cuts help a lot, but I love it long too; sadly the longer my hair gets, the limper it gets. I've tried every thickening lotion, powder, volumizer, round brush, blow it upside down, Velcro rollers, witches brew and parting technique I've come across and these do help, but by midday my hair is flat again! The only thing that really works long term is teasing the roots, or using a hair crimper to add volume at the base. Today I'm going to show you how I use a hair crimper, sometimes called a texturizer, to pump up the volume and give my hair some life! In my new video I'm sharing this technique, while comparing two popular crimpers: Bed Head Little Tease Crimper and Sam Villa Texture Iron. Which iron will reign supreme in this Beauty Battle?
