little change of scenery for the beginning of my deload week, nice atmosphere in powerbase but more packed than ubsport in peak timesπŸ™„ (yes that’s possible πŸ˜…)
-105kg for some 5s on squat -single @ 72.5kg on bench giving me more confidence on this lift 🀩

FINALLY A BENCH PB 76kg 🀩- been doing a lot of upper body accessory work & looks like it has paid off 😭 next goal 80kgπŸ‘€

never posted my bench from nationals, so if anyone wants to have a laugh at how poverty my bench is; here ya go πŸ˜… this was my 2nd and final bench attempt, guess I can grind a bench as well as a squat? 🧐

probably the prettiest my paused squats have ever looked🧐, despite how fatigued I am πŸ˜…de-load next week is going to be very welcomed!
had 3x3 paused at 125kg which I think is a PB 🀨 and also 5s on deficit deadlifts looking alright 😁

132.5kg x 5 PB πŸ”₯ with potentially one more in the tank, more squat gains coming through, dunno how I managed this after yesterday but I’ll take itπŸ˜­πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
and some paused 5s on deadlifts feeling ok πŸ™‚

deadlifts from yesterday, top single of 167.5kg and back of 4s at 140kg, pretty happy to be hitting these numbers week in week out in the midst of all the volume work and training 5 days a week!

150kg PB finally!!!! πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ @ rpe definitely more than my program says (sorry not sorry)...this was a massive goals for me at the beginning of the year so I’m beyond happy!..now to set a new goal, 160? πŸ˜πŸ€”

at this point I knew I’d fucked it ➑️then proceeded to cry mid lift 😭defo the moment from nationals that hurts the most, using it as motivation this prep, and gonna make this weight my bitch next time.

3rd and final heavy squat session of the week, I AM DEAD.
4 sets of paused triples @ 122.5kg and some paused 5s on deadlifts @ 130kg..just two more sessions to get through 😭😴
