The day i visited the filming set of Harry Potter was probably one of the best days of my life. I grew up with some touch of Harry Potter, and even got the chance to see my sis receiving a letter sent all the way from the UK years ago with Daniel Radcliffe's signed photograph. Not a die-hard fans at all, but the whole experience was, i would say, heartwarming. It reminds me a lot of what i truly love, of how i immensely appreciate movies and the process of making one. I really wanted to study cinematography by the way guys hahahaha. Looking at how different departments work together, the intricately designed interior/exterior of a set, prosthetic/makeup, technologies, the creatures (buckbeak to be exact) that has crazy detailing, the huge 'miniature' of Hogwarts that takes 500 architects/designers/sculpters to build (1:24 by scale to the real one), I can see how they pour in their heart and soul and creativity and thoughts and time and effort, just for the movie. The story has indeed touched a lot of people, it has touched my inner little girl that is, lowkey, a die-hard fans of movie production.
I love this place so so much and i will voluntarily come here again to feed my soul hahahaha
