This might be one of the best gifts I have ever received in my entire life, simply for the sentimental value. For those of you who might not know, my dad was apart of a very influential recording studio in Philadelphia/New York, Sigma Sound Studios. Now officially recognized by the historical society of Philadelphia. Since his passing I never had much of anything he was apart of, nothing tangible handed down to me, and being such a music lover it sucked. My aunt (@c.trifari) stopped by a week ago and surprised me with drinks and this. A gift my dad had given her many years ago, that she has now given to me. The studio copy of Grover Washingtons The Best Is Yet To Come, along with a letter he wrote to my aunt. To own something he had apart of making, is something I'll never be able to really grasp words for. Thank you, Christine.
