We brought together ambassadors for four days in Mammoth Lakes, California to meet, pedal and to share what defines riding. Click our link in profile to read what we learned and see the images captured from the lens of @mcmahon_meg.
The two sides of @taylerwiles—the peloton at @amgentocwomen may have seen her fierce side this past week as she took 2nd place overall in the three stage race with immense competition. What you may not know is that Tayler heads up Velocio’s Customer Service efforts and because of her influence and leadership, we receive many emails praising the cheerful and positive interactions. When you inquire about Velocio products or questions, you may just be receiving World Class advice. Congratulations Tayler. We are proud of all you do. • Enter Tayler’s Giveaway! Link in profile. Velocio is stories. We’ll leave this weekend’s Athlete Summit West with many that we will tell for years to come. That time when we rode bikes in the afternoon sunshine and had a snowball fight in the evening, wrapped breakfast’s pancakes in tin foil with bacon and ride food never tasted better (thank you @mattaccarrino) and friendships forged when thunderstorms are approaching, there’s a block headwind and you’re grateful for a stronger wheel in front of you. These are the experiences we seek. Thank you @mammothcrib and @visitmammoth. Photo: @mcmahon_meg
Velocio Western Athlete Summit rolls into day 3. @visitmammoth’s terrain is versatile and when it’s cold, touch and go weather, just roll south towards the Inyo National Forest. We went from snowy and cold to dry and warm in 30 miles. Bonus: we lost some elevation, dropped our layers and gained a little oxygen. Photos: @mcmahon_meg
Lessons from Mom—musings from @reeseruland: “Choose happiness. My mom, despite of or maybe because of her age, is the quintessential free spirit. She still travels the world backpacking with friends and hiking in the mountains because it simply makes her happy. One you find out what puts a smile on your face, keep doing that until it doesn’t.” More words and Lookbook at link in bio. . Photos: @adamjcon
@taylerwiles is in beautiful Mammoth Lakes, CA making final preparations for the Women’s Tour of California. The @mammothcrib provides opportunities to train at altitude or to descend down for opportunities to recover. Good luck, Tayler!
