Falafel, AVOCADO, spinach and home made hummus...YUM! @coffeefactree_camden
🥑Avocados are very nutritious and contain a wide variety of nutrients, including 20 different vitamins and minerals.
🥑Here are some of the most abundant nutrients, in a single 3.5 ounce (100 gram) serving (3):
🥑Vitamin K: 26% of the RDA.
🥑Folate: 20% of the RDA.
🥑Vitamin C: 17% of the RDA.
🥑Potassium: 14% of the RDA.
🥑Vitamin B5: 14% of the RDA.
🥑Vitamin B6: 13% of the RDA.
🥑Vitamin E: 10% of the RDA.
🥑Then it contains small amounts of Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Phosphorous, Vitamin A, B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin) and B3 (Niacin).
🥑This is coming with 160 calories, 2 grams of protein and 15 grams of healthy fats. Although it contains 9 grams of carbs, 7 of those are fiber so there are only 2 "net" carbs, making this a low-carb friendly plant food.

Can’t wait to try them!😍
The Hemp Therapea burger and a Vegan Cheeseburger are two new items for plant lovers on the @grilldburgers menu that hit the two restaurants run by the Markovski family on Tuesday.
Hemp seeds only recently became legal in Australia and Grill’d Healthy Burgers wasted no time trying to be the first to put the ingredient in one of its meals.
Hemp Therapea is a vegetarian burger made from peas and hemp.
The seeds of the Cannabis sativa plant are said to only contain trace amounts of the compound that causes the drug-like effects of marijuana.
The hemp burger with its pea and hemp seed patty, avocado, cos lettuce, beetroot, fresh basil, smoked sea salt and tzatziki comes in at $13.50.
Hemp seeds are said to have health benefits and are packed with protein and fibre.
“It doesn’t have any THB left. It is just the seeds which are high in Omega 3,” Allen Markovski said.
“We have tried them and the feedback we are getting from customers and staff is they are amazing. It is more of a fresh garden taste.
You can taste garlic and mint flavours through the patty. It is the first day and people are absolutely loving it. We are the first large food chain to have hemp in a burger.”
The other new dish is a Vegan Cheeseburger that looks like a cheeseburger, but is only vegan.
“It is really good. When I tried it was just like a beef burger,” Mr Markovski said.
“They have created a Vegan mayo which tastes exactly the same as any other mayo. And they have put together a Vegan cheese as well.”

OMG this is EASY the BEST VEGAN ‘bacon’ I have tried yet!!! It’s so smokey and even goes crispy when you fry it!

I decided to make a creamy, bacon, olives, fresh chives and garlic pasta for dinner and it was DELECTABLE!(swipe left)

You can buy this brand from the vegan/veggie freezer section in Asian grocery stores.

Why oh why would you want to consume the tortured flesh of a sentient being, who is just as intelligent, if not more intelligent than your dog!?

While the vegan meats are a processed plant food and aren’t exactly packed with nutritious ingredients, they are still a whole lot better than eating animal flesh, destroying the planet and they are CRUELTY FREE!

There are sooo many alternative meats available today, so please start making the connection and choosing with your heart🙏🏻

FOUND lost, wandering on the Hume HWY near Gundagai.
Knocked on doors near by, but no owners found.
VERY loving and friendly.
Entire male.
Looks like a jack Russel X foxy
I just took him to @GreencrossVets in Bulli NSW where they scanned him and found a microchip🤞🏼He is now in their care.

Thank you @tynejamesorgan for stopping and giving this little guy a chance to find his home. Let’s just pray he wasn’t dumped 😔🙏🏻
UPDATE: @tynejamesorgan just called to say his owners have been found 😃👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The fact that animals do not communicate like we (humans) do, does not mean they do not feel pain and suffering. Please be kind🙏🏻

The massive bushfires that have affected properties in Menai and Barden Ridge in Sydney's south-west, looked so full on and scary driving into the city today. I can’t imagine what it must be like for our fire men fighting it on the front line, especially in these gale force winds!

The koala in the image above was rescued from the bushfire by the NSW Rural Fire Service in the Liverpool Military Area in Holsworthy.

Of course my heart goes out to all the people who have their homes and possessions under threat, however I can’t help but think about our voiceless friends. While a lot of wildlife instinctively know how to avoid the flames, a lot do not!

Young and small animals are particularly at risk in a wildfire. And some of their strategies for escape might not work. For example, a koala's natural instinct to crawl up into a tree and may leave it trapped.

Heat can kill too, even organisms buried deep in the ground, such as fungi. Jane Smith, a mycologist with the U.S. Forest Service in Corvallis, Oregon, has measured temperatures as high as 1,292 degrees Fahrenheit (700 degrees Celsius) beneath logs burning in a wildfire, and 212 degrees Fahrenheit (100 degrees Celsius) a full two inches (five centimeters) below the surface.

If you spot an injured animal, take pictures of the animal, the injuries and the setting, and call a local rescue organization. The pictures will help a representative guide you through a rescue. You may be asked to stay with the animal until help can arrive, unless it becomes unsafe to do so, or you can be walked through the process of preparing the animal for transport and travel so you can bring it into a veterinary clinic or wildlife shelter.

Tonight, 500 firefighters are STILL out there defending homes🙏🏻
To the arsonist that started this whole mess, I hope you get your just deserts!😡

So let’s support our Aussie businesses who are making a positive changes in this crazy world.🙏🏻👏🏼

Our story began in 2005 when my 23 year old daughter was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis – an autoimmune disease of the central nervous system for which modern medicine is yet to find a cure.
Not satisfied with the bleak prognosis we were given we looked to experts all over the world for advice - from neurologists and scientists, to naturopaths and everyone in between.
The knowledge and insight we gained over those years was life changing. It resulted in careers in the health industry for both of us and planted the seeds for what is now Nuzest – Nutrition for Life.

I just got home from a soft sand run at the beach and didn’t feel like slaving over a hot stove, so this quick scrambled ‘eggs’ on toast recipe was just what the protein doctor ordered!😉
Add what herbs/ingredients you want to flavour it, but I just used:
SILKEN TOFU - a lot of recipes suggest firm, but I prefer silken😉
Add it to a warm, non stick pan & seperate gently.
Sprinkle some turmeric, fresh chives, Himalayan salt and pepper to taste....THAT’S IT!

The only thing we need from animals is forgiveness 🙏🏻
