Probiotics definitely make sense in some cases like if you have taken a lot of antibiotics, they can help rebuild your microbiome. But as I said, it’s better to feed our good gut bacteria with high-fiber plant foods than to take probiotics which will soon die off if we don’t feed them.

Eat the rainbow 🌈 Of course, the best is whatever makes you eat the most of it (it= healthy plant foods). If you don’t like red onions then eat white onions. They are both healthy but if you don’t mind then go for the red one and other colourful options to get extra antioxidants in which fight off free radicals 💥 and keep you healthy 💚

An ideal would be a ratio of 1:1 which is basically impossible in our society full of e.g. vegetable oils. A healthy and achievable ratio between these acids should be close to 4:1-5:1, and should not exceed 10:1 but in reality, a lot of people have a ratio of 15:1-20-1 😱 So way too much Omega-6

So please lower your Omega-6 intake which quickly adds up with vegetable oils and increase your Omega-3 intake by eating 1 tbsp of ground flaxseeds every day (or more) plus chia seeds, hemp seeds, and walnuts.

If you want to boost your Omega-3 please take a vegan Omega-3 supplement. No, you don’t need polluted fish oil. Where do you think fish get their Omega-3 from? They (like we humans) can’t synthesize Omega-3 by themselves, they get it from eating algae! So go directly to the pollution-free source, the algae oil if you want to supplement with Omega-3.

So far I don’t supplement with vegan Omega-3 because I limit my intake of Omega-6 and consume everyday flaxseeds & walnuts. I checked my ratio 4 months ago and it was ok but vegan Omega-3 is a supplement I consider and would recommend. Do your own research and watch my YouTube video about Fish Oil YouTube/Vegains why you shouldn’t consume it 🙌🏼🙏🏼
