Underground Training Station  Sport is in our DNA. From Olympic medalists and professional footballers to kids and parents we offer first class coaching for ALL ages + abilities.

Tom first started with UTS back in 2017 however we are delighted to now officially welcome him into our growing coaching team


Strength and Conditioning, Individualised Programme Design, Rehabilitation and Youth Development/Coaching

Tom's coaching experience stemmed from youth sports coaching, delivering boxing and self defence within Liverpool Schools. Tom competed within multiple sports as a young athlete. Following a serious calf injury, Tom developed his knowledge in fitness and rehabilitation which built his coaching towards the field of strength and conditioning.

Since then Tom has gained invaluable experience whilst continually learning and considers himself fortunate to have so far worked within a variety of sports. Tom has coached athletes in the sports of Boxing, Football, Rugby, Golf and Athletics, along with a variety of everyday athletes/general population clients from youth aged to elderly.

Tom is currently studying for his Bsc in Sport and Exercise Science at Edge Hill University to further develop and learn as a coach. Tom’s approach with his own training and for those he works with is purposeful and encompasses multiple methodologies all built around pillars of movement, mobility, strength and athletic performance.
Tom can regularly be found upside-down in a handstand, exploring bodyweight/callisthenics movements and is passionate about strength training, olympic lifting, youth athletic development and getting stuck into conditioning.

Tom can be found coaching our Boxing on a Tuesday as well as other UTS classes.

With our regular Adult classes at 10.30am (Tues) and 7pm (Wed) followed by Senior Yoga (Thurs) and Family Yoga (Fri) the whole family can now enjoy the many benefits of Yoga right through the week

As always all Yoga sessions are included within your UTS membership and are taken by our hugely experienced and very popular Coach Tina Toft

An amazing achievement!

6.30am class done, 9.30am V02 coming up then lunchtime F3 at 12. What a morning!

Tonight is just as action packed; we have something for EVERYONE. Upstairs we have KO8 (5pm), V02 (6pm) Womens Battle Fit (7pm) and downstairs DENSITY (6pm). Add all our hours of Open gym into this plus the increasingly popular BATTLE ZONE in The Hangar at 7pm and we have got Monday completely covered

Great to see so many local youngsters excited about tomorrows Junior Mile at 10.15am - just before the 10k at 11am

This is the first time any youth activity will take place prior to the Hoylake 10k and we are delighted with the response it has had so far

All Juniors will receive a cool medal (*see pic) and there is no need to register. Simply turn up and run

Make tomorrow a family day
