Sept 11, 2016. I thought having lived in Cali a decade ago would’ve prepared me for the way people talk here, but no. I was a wee trans bab.
I learned to accept man and dude as gender-neutral terms. 🤷‍♀️ If you enjoy my work and would like to help support me, maybe consider checking out my Patreon? Link is in my bio. :)

A recent one about getting misgendered multiple times by different people in a short timespan. I left the restaurant in tears.

Misgendering doesn't always get under my skin too bad, usually it's a frustrating lil pinprick- guess I didn't have the strength this day. It all adds up.

This one’s from last year, but the feeling’s never gone away.
My soon-to-be roomies and I had at the time just moved to LA without an apartment secured, so we were desperately searching for a home.
At that point, since starting transitioning, I hadn’t been around very many friends before and it felt incredible to be so accepted.

Today's relationship comic directly follows last week's strip.

21 months on hormones!! 21 months of livin' that cutie life I always dreamed of. Thanks for comin' along for the ride y'all! 😊

One from a year ago, September 8th, 2016, days after I moved to LA. In the most impossibly coincidental fashion possible, I ran into this person again yesterday. I love LA. Hi if you're still out there, friend. 👋👋 If you enjoy my work and would like to help support me, maybe consider checking out my Patreon? Link is in my bio. :)

Here's a recent one from July 12th, 2017 about my partner lookin' for new work.

September 7th, 2016. A chat with a stranger. If I want to work at changing my voice is something I still struggle with, time will tell~

From a couple months ago. She did that outta nowhere and I was like IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL BAYBEEEE

Sept 6th, 2016. Hormones are magic, but your face is still yours and I had (and still sometimes have) trouble not reading it as 'male'. I guess seeing yourself every day in the mirror it can be hard to see what's different about your face. This was when I had just arrived in LA and met up with my soon to be roommates, including good comic boy @mercworks & @hannah.w.bakes! Side note: this is about my struggle with dysphoria, please don't use this as an opportunity to discuss my looks.
