It might be too late to stay for another year, but it’s not too late to share your #FlyerWisdom. Seniors, tag us in your posts about what you'll miss about UD or advice for #Dayton2022.

Meet ✈️ Piran Talkington ’20!
.
.
.
🎓: Mechanical Engineering Technology with a minor in Military Science
.
.
.
🎖: Piran is the 2nd platoon leader for UD’s Army ROTC program, and plans on entering the Army as an officer after graduation. “I have always wanted to be in the Army, so learning about the University’s ROTC program made UD a perfect match. The leadership experience & the skills I am learning will help me become the future leader I aspire to be.”
.
.
.
🌎: “I chose to study abroad in Ireland because I wanted to see my family’s heritage. It was a great opportunity for me to immerse myself in another culture, and I got to visit 20 other countries while taking classes at @maynoothuni. Studying abroad gave me a better understanding of the world around me than a textbook ever could.”
.
.
.
💙: “My favorite memory so far is from being involved with extra-curriculars. I’m a member of Epsilon Tau Pi, the Eagle Scout Service Fraternity, and I really enjoy going on our ritual retreat every semester. It gives me an opportunity to get closer with my brothers, and I get to put my outdoorsmanship skills to the test.”

“Being in the orchestra helps me balance my mechanical engineering major. Music helps me remember who I’m engineering for.” Summer Jenkins ‘19 waits backstage at #Stander2018 Celebration of the Arts before performing with the University Orchestra.

"Christ yesterday and today. The beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega. All time belongs to Him and all the ages. To Him be glory and power through every age and forever."

Have a safe and happy Easter break, Flyers. The sunshine and blue skies will (hopefully) be waiting for you when you come back! 📷: @kellykatis

"This is my community. This is my family." Khadeja Farahmand ’18 grew up in Afghanistan but a scholarship made it possible for her to pursue a law degree at @udaytonlaw. Learn how she and other UD scholars make our Flyer family #proUD at: your.udayton.edu/UDscholars.

Meet ✈️ Erin Frey ’17! . . . 🎓: Erin graduated from UD in the Fall of 2017 with a degree in communications and a minor in marketing. She is currently a Marketing and Communications intern at Fahlgren Mortine, an advertising agency located at the Greene. . . . 🏡: “Community exists everywhere on UD’s campus, but I feel it most in the student neighborhood. I hear community when people greet each other on the sidewalks. I feel it when I see students smiling at strangers. I see it when neighbors take out each other’s trash when they forget trash day. I am continuously in awe of the selflessness of my community members I get to live around” . . . 💙: “In the summer of my sophomore year, UD sent me to Washington D.C. to report on Pope Francis’ visit to the U.S. and it was the most incredible experience both personally and professionally. I don’t think I would have ever had this experience anywhere else” . . . 🗣 As a recent graduate, Erin has some parting words for the UD community. “Enjoy every single minute of your time at UD. You won’t remember those late nights at the library, but rather the moments spent with your friends on your front porch and the impromptu adventures will be what you will cherish forever” . . .
