The National Park Service not only manages our nation's National Parks -- it manages 417 total sites throughout the US. One of those sites, the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, was almost completely decimated by the Woolsey Fire. 88% of the federal land was wiped out in under two weeks.
From now through the end of the year I'm going to donate 15% of every sale of one of my National Parks prints to the Santa Monica Mountains Fund (samofund.org) to help them rebuild after the catastrophic damage. If you live in Southern California please consider donating -- the Santa Monica Mountains are home to many rare or endangered species, including a small population of Southern California mountain lions and the California red-legged frog, and the recreation area is an invaluable resource for all of us who live here.
