Yes, it's normal. I have that too. The front of my hair is loose and wavy 😩. It's either because you have a different hair texture or you are brushing/pulling your hair back a lot. Try using straws or small rods to set that part. #naturalhair #transtioninghair #teamnatural #natural #hair #curlyhair #protectivestyles #curls #healthyhair #naturalista #naturalhairdaily #afro #beauty #naturalhaircommunity #braids #locs #love #kinkyhair #myhaircrush #fashion #blackgirlsrock #kinkycurly #naturalhairjourney #naturalbeauty #naturalhairstyles #naturalandproud

Hi! When your transitioning you want to avoid heat. Heat is a no no! IF you are using heat make sure you use ALOT of heat protectant. While transitioning, deep conditioner will be your hairs best friend so deep condition your hair after every wash. I'm giving you tips based on what I did. I'm going to be honest I didn't really do much while I was transitioning πŸ˜‚ ALSO, keep your hair moisturized!! Because dry hair breaks. Find your to-go transitioning hairstyle πŸ’πŸ½ my to-go transitioning hairstyle was a low sleek bun that's what I would wear most of the time just because with transitioning hair it's hard to do hairstyles. But that dosent say, every hair is different find what hairstyle you can do with your hair and stick to it until you are ready to big chop. You can also protective style it. Braids, twists, crotchet, wigs, etc. Use sulfate free shampoo & conditioner Sulfate is an ingredient that will make your hair dry & brittle. Shampoos like cantu, Aussie, shea moisture etc always check the ingredients before you buy a Shampoo & conditioner. Last not least be patient patience is key! don't give up on your hair πŸ˜©πŸ’˜ I know transitioning is really hard to deal with but trust me it's all worth it in the end you won't regret it!
