It's amazing what getting back on track with your workouts and nutrition can do!! Abs coming back 😌. I'm typically anywhere between 160-165lb (I'm 5'4") but when I came back on Friday, I was 170lb πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ 2 weeks of vacation (good food and drinks!!) will do it to you!! The bloat and water retention was REAL. Today, I'm already back down to 166. I plan on getting down to 155 by my birthday (August 6) but I'm not stressing the scale, just changes in the way that I look. No secret - just proper nutrition (I track my foods via MyFitnessPal - follow me on Snapchat - marissa8693 - to see some of my meals) and adequate exercise. By far the #1 thing I hear from women is "I don't wanna look like a man." πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Sis, lifting weights is N O T going to make you "look like a man." You CAN and WILL still rock the hell out of that dress and swimsuit. Hey guys!! Vacation over and I am sooo happy to be back home!! Now let's chat πŸ—£ No it's not a progress pic, just no flex vs flex 😱 No, I don't walk around flexing all day like I do in pics πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ So without the flex, yes my body looks different. I think many of us have unrealistic "body goals" because we look at pictures on social media of people flexing until they can't breath to get every ab and striation to pop. Look sis, its not real! 😭 Well not this way. We just like to flex!! Let's cut this short - Ladies, working out will not make you walk around looking like I do on the right. You will still look "ladylike", or maintain your "softness" for the lack of better terms - (idk I just can't spit it out right now πŸ˜‚). The point? Don't get caught up in comparing yourself to the versions of themselves, or the angles that people decide to share while on social media.
