Be the Amazon rainforest’s Valentine. Show your love to Mother Earth this Valentine’s Day. Protest against Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro who is seeking to destroy her. The Climate Save Movement and coalition partners are organizing global actions at Brazilian embassies and consulates around the world and at the UN building in NYC on February 14, 2019. Here is a list of Brazilian embassy and consulate locations worldwide: https://www.embassy-worldwide.com/country/brazil/. The Amazon rainforest is the lungs of the Planet. The heart stops beating when the lungs die. If the world went vegan, we'd have a great chance in saving this and other precious forests. Also, land would be freed up from growing animal feed for reforestation and re-wilding.

Ideas for the February 14th global actions:
Meet with Ambassador and First Secretary at Brazilian embassies.
Present letters and petition. In your meeting ask a set of questions:
Is it true that animal agriculture is being expanded in the Amazon rainforest?
Is it true that Amazon rainforests are cut down or burned to grow soy and shipped abroad for the animal feed industry?
Do you understand the need to go vegan to save the Amazon rainforest and the planet? What do you think at an individual level… will you consider going vegan?
Things to bring:
Flowers, heart shaped signs, vegan chocolate, vegan cupcake, vegan cupid cookies, costumes (parrot), masks, tree with heart-shaped leaves, the Lungs of the Earth signs, cupid: flying baby/Amazon animal with wings, etc.
