Still speaking on SAFETY DURING WORLD CUP on the program Oga Driver at City 105.1 FM
2. Use of phone while driving in a bid to check "LIVE SCORES" this is also called Distracted Driving. A driver naturally looses his or her concentration while trying to check the phone, detach yourself totally from the match as long as you are on wheels. Thanks to @bellaroseo of @city1051 , she has promised to keep you posted. #Frscisurfriend #istandwiththeeagles @frscnigeria @sonusiolabisi @itztflow @mr_seal21 @officerfeyi @onijayz @phinesmiles @milpopprof_nigeria @opetodolapo @iheanachorifeanyiomuta @aleeygiwa . Take note of the additional information Speed thrills but kills. Watch out for a series on SPEED LIMITING DEVICE.

Today @city1051 with my able presenter @thebennyark and @bellaroseo speaking on SAFETY DURING WORLD CUP. That part where Bella said "its only natural to tune in......" hmmmmmm, Irrespective of the love you have for football, please note that your safety is important especially when you are on wheels.
1. Listening to football commentary while driving isn't advisable, remember there are lots of emotional attachment during a football match which could affect your emotions thereby leading to unnecessary attitude while driving and finally a crash. Therefore, locate a viewing centre or hold your anxiety till you get home. #Frscisurfriend #istandwiththeeagles @frscnigeria @sonusiolabisi @itztflow @mr_seal21 @officerfeyi @onijayz @phinesmiles @milpopprof_nigeria @opetodolapo @iheanachorifeanyiomuta @aleeygiwa . I won't forget to tell the world that @city1051 FM now has a world class standard studio. Good job by the management.

The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has been drawn to reports that the Corps has advertised and has started a fresh recruitment exercise. According to Bisi Kazeem, Corps Public Education Officer , FRSC a fake FRSC website has been created by some fraudsters in this regard to fleece unsuspecting applicants of their hard earned money. The Corps Marshal, Dr. Boboye Oyeyemi, has therefore ordered that a public alert be given to innocent Nigerians to disregard the false information being peddled by the fraudsters in the social media.
Kazeem stated that the activities of the fraudsters are being investigated by relevant authorities The Corps is using this medium to clarify that FRSC is at the moment not conducting any form of recruitment and will make it a public knowledge through major newspapers and other relevant media whenever such recruitment exercise is to take place as already approved by the Federal Government.  Kazeem stated that the Corps Marshal clarified thus: “His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has graciously given approval for the recruitment of qualified Nigerians into the services of the Corps, but the advertisement has  not been made public yet.
In his words, “the Corps has established mechanisms to achieve a smooth exercise and these established processes are presently undergoing scrutiny to ensure a flawless and smooth exercise. When we are ready, the public will be properly informed through adverts in the national dailies”.
Kazeem therefore called on the general public to discountenance the current portal linked to the Corps and has been in circulation in the internet and other media platforms.

Preaching the gospel of Road safety is what we love to do, we never get tired @sonusiolabisi and @tomi_mala . Speaking to Ikeja bus drivers to drive safely this Easter. While talking about "USE OF PHONE WHILE DRIVING" they accused Private car owners of being more guilty of this, don't know how true this is oooooo. Anyways, let's all be safety conscious, Life ain't got Duplicate. #Frscisurfriend #saynotouseofphonewhiledriving #saynotooverspeeding #dontdrinkanddrive #installspeedlimiter #officermalaisyourfriend #noholidayforoffiicers #HAPPYEASTER

The Sector Commanders of FRSC Lagos and Ogun State Commands, Corps Commanders Hyginus Omeje and Clement Oladele as well as the Corps Public Education Officer, Corps Commander Bisi Kazeem today sensitized motorists at Mowe along the Lagos - Ibadan expressway. Regrann from @onijayz - Seat belt usage to some drivers and other vehicle occupants might seem negligible and some times unnecessary, especially as opined by some individuals who consider it's usage a non preventive measure for occurrence of road traffic crashes.
Others play down it's importance because they think their travelling distance is SHORT and relatively SAFE without it's usage.
It would be necessary be paint the following scenarios that play out when traffic violators are apprehended for not using seat belt while driving.
SCENARIO 1: Officer, where I dey go no far at all, the seat belt no too dey necessary.
SCENARIO 2: Officer, as you can see, the Agbada I am wearing is properly starched and painstakingly ironed, I don't want it stained that's why I am not using the seat belt.
SCENARIO 3: Officer, I actually used the seat belt o, it was when I pulled over at the gas station just 5 minutes drive from here that I forget to fasten it back.
SCENARIO 4: Officer, I actually use the seat belt but this morning, I was feeling uncomfortable so I decided not to use it. 😀😀😀 Amusing scenarios right? YES!! but it is never amusing when traffic crashes occur and occupants who would normally have survived end up dying or sustaining severe injuries due to non usage of seat belts.
The plain truth is, crashes do not send warning signals and is not restricted to only Expressways and major highways. This accounts for need to be adequately equipped and adhere strictly to usage of all safety gadgets (seat belt usage inclusive) at all times.
In conclusion, SEAT BELT USAGE does not just connote compliance with traffic laws, but also helps to minimize the severity of injuries and reduces the tendency of fatality in the event of a traffic crash occurrence. PLEASE, ALWAYS FASTEN YOUR SEAT BELT!!! #Frscisurfriend #seatbelt #buckleup #seatbeltsafety #frsccares
