Yesterday’s session mentality breakdown:
First 3 were ok, cruising along, good rhythm. After the 4th, half way, always a nice feeling, but “hmm this is going to be tough”
After the 5th, the self-pep talk came along. Something along the lines of “come on Tom, grab your cajones and get the next few done, you’re fine, the session is meant to be tough”.
Got through 6 & 7, and we all know the last effort always takes care of itself.
Another good solid session ticked off, and a good confidence boost knowing my body is accepting and learning pain again.
