In my last days at home, I savour this moment spent at Sydney Harbour finding balance alongside the ocean with its breeze hitting me with fresh salty air and the thriving city I called home for so long in the background.
Tomorrow I leave for adventures into the unknown. To step up and be the change I want to see in the world. Because I recognise that I am fortunate enough to be able to do that. Because of the country that I was born, the family I was born into, the education I was entitled to, and the circumstances that happened to make me realise that every day on this planet is a gift more than an entitlement and you legitimately don't know if you will live to see tomorrow. Indonesia, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Colombia, Morocco, and the surprises that I don't know about yet. This is the fourth time I leave my home country not knowing when I will return and I'm mixed with the same feelings of excitement, anxiety, melancholy, joy and everything in between. I am grateful for my roots here, my network, the unconditional love and support that this land provides. I feel it with me even when I am not here.
For now, I'm listening to the call to continue on this path, building the momentum (intentional) into a new future of a global network of innovative projects focused on sustainable development, technological innovation, ancestral knowledge, community living, unlocking of human potential and freedom of spirit... with every intention to bring it back to these shores when the time is right.
For now, hasta luego Sydney. Peace.
