Tried cooking for the first time tonight in my tiny urban Hong Kong kitchen. None of my own kitchen stuff has arrived yet, so this is all just using the service apartment's random cookware. It was surprisingly OK. The space was cramped but I love the access here in HK to just about anything from around the world. Tonight I had some organic baby Shanghai greens from China, acorn-fed Iberico pork (de Bellota) from Spain, potato & arrowroot glass noodles from Hokkaido Japan, & baby purple sweet potatoes from Japan. Oh, and Japanese truffle soy sauce (yum!!).
