So I figured I would introduce myself again since I havenโ€™t done it in awhile and @jessicaolie inspired me to take the plunge and do it.. soooo here goes
1. My name is Kirsty, not kRisty, last name is about to change ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’
2. I get married in 6 days
3. I have a son..heโ€™s a cat & his name is Smokey.
4. Mac n cheese is amazing and one of my favorites.. Iโ€™m cutting back on cheese to clear up my skin.. but I miss Mac n cheese... I might need it this week ๐Ÿ˜… ( @morgan_menmaker take notes)
5. I love binge watching Netflix & Hulu
6. I am about to move to Fort Hood, Texas.. whenever the Army tells us to lol.
7. Iโ€™ve been doing yoga for a little over two years & went to my YTT last April. My favorite thing to do is inversions.
8. Iโ€™m OCD, ADD & ADHD.. sooooo basically I hyper focus.. on only the things I want to focus on.. and only when I want to๐Ÿ˜…
9. I rarely wear makeup and eye lash curlers are life
10. I am 5 ft. Tall
11. I am horrible at drinking 8 glasses of water per day.. its a struggle ๐Ÿ˜’
12. I went to college for a year then decided it wasnโ€™t for me
13. I like to dress up โ€˜like a girlโ€™ sometimes(hints this photo) however, most of the time you can find me in yoga pants #yogapantsarelife
14. I have the mouth of a sailor(but donโ€™t understand why thatโ€™s even a saying ๐Ÿ˜‚)
15. Iโ€™m HORRIBLE at math, but good with managing money ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
16. Sometimes my eyes are green & sometimes they are blue (my man came up with that and he said โ€œthatโ€™s what Iโ€™m here for.. instagram husbandโ€ heโ€™s so good to me ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚) 16. Letโ€™s talk about Ego.

So last year I made a goal to get a pull-up. It didnโ€™t happen, I got annoyed.. didnโ€™t practice at it for a while. Well, Today I got 3 pull-ups and a chin-ups in the gym. Even though I didnโ€™t meet my time frame goal, Iโ€™m happy that I persisted.

Your ego can DEFINITELY get in the way of your practice if you let it. When you fall out of poses, canโ€™t do certain poses that you see, or even when you donโ€™t meet goals.

Moral of the story.. #practicemakesprogess and donโ€™t let your ego get in the damn way! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ
