- A lot of what separates those who want from those who have is the simple fact that one stopped while the other just kept going - ๐Ÿ”ง๐Ÿ”ฉโš™
Stoked to get started on giving the pumpkin some serious love so we can finally have that badass tow rig we've always wanted ๐Ÿ˜

Took advantage of a unique photo workshop event this past Saturday at Bodie in which we were allowed after hours access to take sunset photos in the park . . . just as we thought the sunset was going to be a dud and the few others still left started to pack up, this happened ๐Ÿ™Œ thank you to the wonderful @bodiefoundation for an experience we will never forget!!!

happiness is a motorcycle ride together through the mountains ๐Ÿ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ˜

so happy to see running water and even happier to have made it across several creeks and streams yesterday ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿ˜ƒ this was my first real trail ride since injuring my wrist back in april, so I was a little hesitant at this first one, but once I saw Sam go through and it was obvious he was much cooler and refreshed than I was, I realized that even if I fell I would be better off than I was over there dying in the hot sun ๐Ÿ˜‚ somehow we managed to make it 40 miles through the forest before I just couldn't hold on any longer and had to get on the road ๐Ÿ›ฃ really do love the dual sport life!!!

back at work wishing this was my view for the day instead ๐Ÿ๐Ÿž

we did it!!! 395 to yosemite valley and back before noon ๐Ÿ˜ 7 hours of riding along some of the most beautiful roads in the country ๐Ÿ๐Ÿž although it killed my wrist, this was definitely one of the best riding experiences we have had yet ๐Ÿ˜

looking forward to another weekend on two wheels . . . wonder where we will end up this time ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿž๐Ÿ

summer feels โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿพ

finally invested in a new lens and made my first attempt at capturing the milky way this weekend . . . of course it would be cloudy ๐Ÿ˜‘ but with no moon around I had to at least try ๐ŸŒŒ . . . looking forward to learning out how to use it properly and figuring out how to stay up past 9pm ๐Ÿ˜‚

~ the tallest tree in the forest was once just a little nut that held its ground ~ ๐Ÿ™Œ
I know I won't ever be the tallest tree, but this little nut is holding on for dear life, determined to be that one tree, no matter how weathered and battered, that just won't quit ๐Ÿ˜…๐ŸŒฐ๐ŸŒฒ

presenting the most challenging recovery we have experienced yet . . . took three 4x4 diesels to finally get it out ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’ช
first we tried with the dodge and a 28,500lb. master pull kinetic strap but it snapped ๐Ÿ˜ฎ and sent a d-ring flying into the rear bumper and tailgate (yes we know that's not exactly the proper way to use it but zero fucks) . . . then some thoughtful tourists with an yota fj came by and thought their 10,000lb. winch would work (yeaaa not, but ok, go for it) - it also snapped ๐Ÿ˜ and luckily didn't hit them ๐Ÿ™ˆ ironically this was about 20 yards before the puddle that claimed the 4Runner motor and the second local to get stuck in this spot in the past week. . . reaaaally thinking we would put a sign up saying "if you think you're gunna make it and don't, you're gunna have a bad time" and include these photos๐Ÿ•๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ˜‚

friday ride day ๐Ÿ˜ and those clouds ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐ŸŒ„
