"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." - Dalai Lama. However these are not too bad as far as temples go!

Thanks to @yogaschoolgoa for providing the perfect backdrop to a week of rejuvenation and recalibration.

Good evening Goa! After a wonderfully hectic experience in Rajasthan I'm looking forward to a few days of yoga next to the beach.

Rajasthan would not have been the same without our amazing driver Rakesh Rama from @indianpanorama not sure how I will cope without a personal driver/guide/historian/philosopher and advisor.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain

The Step well at Jodhpur. Recently renovated from a sewer/rubbish dump this amazing piece of architecture is now a favourite spot for kids to cool off from the heat of the day.

Sunset over Pushkar.

Non-injury to all living beings. (first truth of Jainism)

Life goes on under the view of the Taj Mahal!

Try not to become a man of success. Rather become a man of value.

Space and some time to reflect on decisions that need to be made and the direction in which to move.

"Every creature was designed to serve a purpose. Learn from animals for they are there to teach you the way of life. There is a wealth of knowledge that is openly accessible in nature. Our ancestors knew this and embraced the natural cures found in the bosoms of the earth. Their classroom was nature. They studied the lessons to be learned from animals. Much of human behavior can be explained by watching the wild beasts around us. They are constantly teaching us things about ourselves and the way of the universe, but most people are too blind to watch and listen." -
Suzy Kassem

ADVICE PLEASE! Off to India early next year and if anyone has tips, advice or places to recommend I would love to hear them!

"If you're reading this...
Congratulations, you're alive. If that's not something to smile about, then I don't know what is." Chad Sugg,

If we are just sitting to say we have meditated and tick a box we are missing the point of meditation. Show up without a goal, without meditation being another "nailed it" part of your day. Sit with yourself and just watch what comes up. It's not always easy to relinquish control (even from ourselves) but it does have the power to transform!

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. As longs as this exists, and it certainly always will, I know that then there will always be comfort for every sorrow, whatever the circumstances may be. And I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles." - Anne Frank

Why not make cheerfulness, outrageousness, playfulness a new priority for yourself? Make feeling good your expectation. You don’t have to have a reason to feel good... you’re alive; you can feel good for no reason at all! - Anthony Robbins

"To find peace in the darkness you only need a speck of light"

One of those books that everyone should read at least once!

"Everyone tells you what's good for you. They don't want you to find your own answers. They want you to believe theirs." - Dan Millman

I stopped making juices at home as I was getting bored with the recipes. But a visit to @joeandthejuice has inspired me to get back into it! Anyone got a great #juicerecipe they can share?
