Before I lay my head for this Mothering Sunday, I thought why not take a trip down memory lane to how this Mama Panda got into this world... Well we all know how but more like who from.
Pic 1. Me with my dearest siblings and our paternal grandparents. Nana Panda is quite the fighter. She's the only one out of our grandparents we get to physically see and has led by example in how to be an independent woman. Love her!
Vid. This has to be my fave capture of my mama dearest with our eldest Panda, Shayne. My mum is such a frikkin' badass. And quite the dancer 💃. She reminds me of a dancing teddy here 😂. So cute!
Pic 2. My maternal grandparents. I wish my memory was better so I could remember them both properly. My most vivid memory is of my Lola sitting on the balcony infront of her house playing cards with family, as well as the last visit we had when we said our final goodbyes. What I also cherish are the stories my mum tells us about them quite regularly. Especially of her experiences growing up with them in Philippines - they are absolute legends in their own right but I love them so much for raising such an awesome woman who became my mother. Love you Lolo and Lola! (I'll see you in my dreams)
Pic 3 and 4. My awesome parents. Aka. John and Filipino Yoko lol. My mama you are so beautiful inside and out. This woman is ridiculously caring and loving. If anyone could be sainted I would nominate her. She's been through so much in her lifetime and soldiered through, showing us how to be brave, strong, humble people just like her. She's conquered the big C and is the perfect mother and grandmother. Please someone just tell her to now take a break because 1. She doesn't listen to me and 2. She totally deserves it. Love you mama beyond words. Thanks for being the glue that keeps our family together 💓
Hope you all had a lovely weekend and wishing you a great start to the new week! 😘🐼
