We are drawn to waterfalls. Here is a view of the upper falls in Minneopa State Park in Mankato, MN. #onlyinmn #minnesota #mankato

Did you know that the Midwest's largest collection of salt and pepper shakers can be found in Traer, Iowa? With over 16,000 sets and growing, it is worth the stop. We had no idea that this many varieties of them existed. This small selection is just a small sample of what you can expect to see. #iowa

The food and eclectic artistic atmosphere at Public House Wichita make it a place I will put on our list on a return visit. There were four of us for lunch and everything ordered around the table looked delicious. Oh, and may we recommend ordering the Public Pickles as an appetizer. Trust us on this one. @VisitWichita

#tbt Do you remember what you carried your lunch to school in? I remember having an orange plastic Garfield one. This rather large collection of lunch boxes both metal and plastic can be found at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska. #Nebraska @visit_nebraska @museumofamericanspeed #roadtriptheusa

It's a great time to check out the beautiful Reiman Gardens on the grounds of Iowa State University. Bees, butterflies, art, and of course flowers and the world's largest concrete gnome. #iowastate #thisisiowa #flowerstagram

Love the engaging cultural experiences you can have at an event like #Nordicfest in Decorah, Iowa... and the food of course! #thisisiowa @traveliowa

Would you trust me when I say, if in Wichita, you must try the Mac and cheese at River City Brewing Company? So good! #ilovewichita #hosted @visitwichita

Public art really draws us into a destination. Wichita are really making use of open areas. One alley has sculptures and a place to hang out with tables and chairs. The Keeper of the Plains sculpture in this pic is in the ICT Pop-up Urban Park. #ilovewichita #hosted @visitwichita

How fun is this Chihuly bridge that you can walk on. They also have a very big ceiling Chihuly piece in the main lobby. We were also impressed with the variety of art on display and the kids area. @visitwichita #hosted #visitwichita #noplacelikeks @wichitaartmuseum

We are really starting to love trying flights at breweries. I was a fan of this holder at Aeroplains Brewery that resembles a plane. Make sure to ask about the stories behind the names and art on the labels. #aeroplainsbrewing #visitwichita @visitwichita #hosted

We loved all the gardens at Botanica. The Children's Garden definitely had us wishing we were kids again. This tree house is so fun and this is just a taste of what you will find in this garden. #ictmoments #ilovewichita #noplacelikeks @visitwichita

We loved being able to climb aboard a brand new John Deere Tractor at the John Deere Tractor and Engine Museum in Waterloo, Iowa. #idigwaterloo #johndeere #tractor
